When you are trying to reach the word count for your essay.
I’m watching Mind Your Language at the moment and I cannot believe that I have never seen this before! Actually, I can. I don’t think this series would be easy to translate into other languages so that’s probably why I didn’t stumble upon it a few years back when I watched Faulty Towers and Keeping Up Appearances with Danish subtitles.
Anyhow, it is HILARIOUS! It is light-hearted and yet deals with more serious topics in a witty way. And I find it so relatable, too! The characters are more shallow than real humans, of course, it is a sitcom after all. And yet their struggles with the English language (and at times, each other) are so... Genuine, I guess. And Mr. Brown (Barry Evans) is such a lovable cutie. :3
