When you're high, drunk, nostalgic, and shivering in and out of lucidity, reminiscing in tune.
That's me, right now.
We're so afraid of being judged and yet so eager to impress. It's hard to have it all.
But that's what we do, try to have it all. Greed is human, but why is it such a bad thing... why is it so bad to strive for perfection? It's not like it's blind hope; we know we can't have it all, but we still like to pursue it. Animals know their time and place, but humans are greedy and want more from/of life, so we keep reaching for more physically, emotionally, intellectually, and even though we won't ever really get there, we've still come a hell of a long way.
Biology teaches us that we reach equilibrium when we're dead. I guess that's why they keep telling us not to settle.
