Shouto blinked when Midoriya held out the gift bag towards him. “...Thank you, Midoriya,” he murmured before taking beginning to open it up. A soft smile crossed his face when he saw the soba bowl. “The bowl is really pretty...” 

He then raised an eyebrow when Bakugou was mentioned. Unable to help himself, he tilted his head. “He would? But I thought he said that we weren’t friends?”

Shouto couldn’t help himself. He really couldn’t. 

“The Midoriya wallpaper on your phone,” he answered without hesitation. “I didn’t know you could be so sentimental, Bakugou.”

Shouto was quiet for a moment as he considered the question. “What do I get out of this?” he asked evenly with a raised eyebrow. “You won because you were better than me during that match. You should take pride in that.” 

“Aside from mending your bruised ego, it won’t do much for you. Any rematch we have won’t be seen as anything other than sparring practice at this point.” 

Did he know that this response would only piss off Bakugou further? Maybe.

Shouto let out a slow sigh as his expression grew serious. “My worst memory is easily the day I nearly lost him and Midoriya to Shigaraki,” he admitted quietly. “I was going through a lot when I found out the truth about Touya-nii, but seeing Bakugou getting impaled by Shigaraki was just as horrifying to watch.” 

“If I hadn’t caught him in time, he could have easily fallen to his death.” 

He smiled a little. “Even if Bakugou doesn’t want to say it out loud, I think we both think of each other as best friends,” he murmured. “I don’t know what I’d do with myself if I failed to save both of my closest friends.” 

His eyes seemed to glow with fondness when he thought of his best memory of Bakugou. “I think my best memory of Bakugou was the night he helped save Natsu-nii,” he confessed. “I was really worried when that villain took him hostage, but Midoriya and Bakugou stepped in fast enough to prevent any casualties.” 

“Even though it's a hero’s job to save anyone who’s in danger, it still meant a lot to me that Bakugou was willing to risk his life to save my brother.”

Shouto’s gaze became warm when he felt a familiar hand grab his. He instinctively squeezed back around Momo’s fingers as he turned his head to stare at her face. “Good morning, Momo,” he greeted. 

He blinked when she abruptly presented him with the heart shaped box. Given how much he loved cats, his eyes softened as soon as he saw the design. “Valentine’s...?” he echoed before it finally clicked in his mind. 

A small blush crossed his cheeks as he looked back up at her face. It wasn’t like he hadn’t gotten a Valentine’s Day gift before. Many girls had given him Valentine’s Day gifts since elementary school. Though, his previous callous nature never allowed him to reciprocate any of their gestures on White Day. 

This gift was different. Momo’s present made his chest feel warm. He wanted to make her happy in return. “Thank you,” he replied with a smile. “Happy Valentine’s Day.” Unable to help himself, he leaned over and gently pressed his lips against hers.

“Wouldn’t the best aspect be the fact that she’s Momo?” Shouto asked with a tilt of his head. “It’s kind of hard for me to narrow it down to one specific thing since I love everything about her.” 

“She’s beautiful, kind, intelligent, brave, strong...” he listed off with a faint smile. “I honestly feel lucky that someone as amazing as her likes me despite all of my baggage.”

“I don’t honestly have that many memories with Touya-nii,” he replied softly. His darkened a little as he thought back to earlier days of his childhood. “My old man kept me away from the rest of my siblings so that I could train with him.” 

“And even before that, I was too young to really bond with him...” He was a baby while Touya was living in the house with them. “He got along more with Natsuo and Fuyumi because they were closer to his age.”

His frown deepened. “Even when Touya-nii was around me, he hated me. He wanted me dead because he felt like our dad abandoned him to train me.”

In terms of Shouto’s worst memory of Touya...

A bitter smirk formed across his lips. “The moment when he revealed himself as Dabi would easily be the worst memory I’ve had of him.”

“I don’t really pay attention to things like that,” Shouto replied with a frown. “I’m pretty sure it would be considered inappropriate to view your classmates in that way.”

Besides, the answer was obviously Midoriya’s.
