Where could Katsuki even begin with Izuku? It was like, wherever he ended, Izuku began, and where Izuku ended, Katsuki began. Fated childhood friends and rivals turned lovers. If the concept of soulmates was real, Izuku surely was his.

Though, he'd never be caught dead saying those thoughts out loud. Holy fuck, that was really damn gay.

"He's someone I need to protect--" He paused. "No, he's someone I want to protect." He smiled a little. "He's the reason why I'm a hero, and not just some bullshit celebrity in it for the money and fame; an actual hero who wants to save people because that's the only way to win."

"We push each other to be the best that we can be with no half-assing it. Not even death could keep me apart from him, so I guess you could say that I'm head-over-heels gay as fuck for that nerd."

"He's fuckin' amazing, Quirk or no Quirk. His smile could light up the entire damn room and makes me think I'll explode if I stare at it for too long. He's so fuckin' cute it makes me wanna bite him. I get lost in his eyes all the fuckin' time--" He paused, realizing that he was now rambling on much like Izuku would do while muttering about heroes. He flushed deeply at the thought. Fuck.

Shouto was conflicted.

Ever since Izuku had returned from his mission with Endeavor, Shouto wasn't sure how to approach his best friend. Along with the emotions of relief and happiness were also feelings of betrayal, anger, and sadness. It didn't help that there was the added complication of love tossed into the mix. While he had destroyed the letter of Izuku confessing his feelings to him, he never forgot what was written there.

He replayed the words in his head over and over ever since he read those words.

"I love you, Shocchan!"

Though, once he found the bravery to confront Izuku, he quickly found that the other had found every excuse in the world to avoid talking to him. It was training, needing to speak to Bakugou or All Might, or out right slipping away whenever Shouto dropped his guard. In addition to that, Shouto's family kept him plenty busy ever since they all moved into U.A.

After two days of the cat and mouse game, Shouto spotted Izuku leaving the kitchen. He called out to him immediately and when his friend had continued walking forward, the other teen had finally had enough.

Narrowing his eyes at the back of Izuku's head, Shouto gave a pointed step forward with his right leg. The temperature in the room dropped drastically before a line of ice shot forward and locked his best friend's feet to the carpet.

"Izuku--" he said again with added weight in his voice. "I know what you're doing." He began to close the distance between them. "Stop avoiding me." He was sure that saying his friend's first name would catch his attention.

“you can’t just go around sniffing people asshat! what my sweat smells like is my business. not yours! got it!” he grumbles as he places one hand on his hip while the other grabs his water bottle. “stupid nerd.” ]

"Hahh??!" Katsuki shook his head hard. "You can't be a camping nerd! It's just being really knowledgeable about shit related to camping because you're experienced! It's not the same as taking fuckin' endless notes on it and studying shit for fun."

"Nerd shit is reserved for topics like math, science, comic books, anime, heroes.... shit like that." He paused. "Quirks fall under science, so Quirk notes are nerdy."

As soon as he heard his first name leave Izuku's mouth, he flinched and wearily turned to look at his boyfriend. Oh. He was mad.

Still, he wasn't about to give in just yet. He tried to muster up a more confident expression, but all thoughts were abruptly cut off the moment Blackwhip wrapped around his body.

"FUCK--!"

Katsuki yelped loudly as he was dragged out of his chair and held in the air. Tendrils of Blackwhip were wrapped around his torso. Normally, being restrained without warning sent him into a flurry of panic, but once he could register that it was Blackwhip, his muscles relaxed. He trusted Izuku. They had spent enough time together with training with the Quirk.

Though, it didn't stop him from flailing stubbornly while mildly glaring back at his boyfriend. "Oi! Let me out of this shit!" he snapped. "I didn't even change your password!"
