Shouvik Mukherjee @ ishouvik.com : Reference
Shouvik is talented. He was able to build an ELGG mod for me in record time when everyone else was reading google help files.
But I recommend you do not work with him.
He initially demanded 80% up front.
Then, when I ignored him, he came back many days later and produced the work I needed. I payed him immediately.
The trouble happened after he got paid.
I paid him $300 and he disappeared for 5 days. I don't know how far $500 goes in his life but it was apparently enough to drop the ball on the more urgent job he promised to jump on after reciept of first payment. But, on his return, i went against my better judgement and gave him another job. The trouble escalated when things got difficult for him. He underestimated the labor it would take to migrate a site from godaddy to a bigger host. And he demanded a deposit.
I told him that was unprofessional and that he would be paid upon completion.
He refused to finish the site migration. In retrospect, i think he was just unable to complete it.
However, the real reason I recommend you stay away from Shouvik is that he placed a .htaccess file in my live website maliciously disabling it and leaving me with a "500 error"
