Something I just finished yesterday.
Don't know why I made him but I did-
I’m a senior in high school. Due to COVID-19, our spring play (and my final show) has been canceled. However, I’ve still been commissioned to design the logo. It’s bittersweet to make this, knowing that it’s my last but also that I can’t be in it. Still, I’m so happy to do this last thing for my acting family who I will miss to an impossible degree.
Probably the only merchandise ever produced? Brats of the Lost Nebula; 1998
Remember this logo?
By the Way, in conversation with Jeff Garlin // DTAFM
What's that? Mr. Garlin is starting a podcast on the Earwolf network? I get to do the art? He wants something really cool? Awesome.
I reeeeeally got to stretch my feet with this one. the directive was simple enough:
Less is more, simple, clean, 50's style hipster, cool jazz, Miles Davis font.
I did my best to replicate a lot of the looks I was able to scrounge up online. There are a few elements that I really liked, and probably will try to integrate somewhere down the road. I'm extremely happy with how ALL of these turned out. And I think the final option is pretty... nifty? Yes.

OWEN & TJ READ THE NEWS // DTAFM
Chalk it up to another Earwolf podcast letting me flex my illustrative and technical muscles. Big shout out to Ben Adventureface Braman for direction on how to get my brushes kicking in high gear. Thanks to Owen and Adam for being so supportive and helpful in the process!

GELMANIA // DTAFM
Brett told me that for the Gelmania logo he wanted "some heavy handed political/social angle. Somewhat controversial." Along with a handful of rough ideas, I went off to the sketchbook to produce a handful of rough directions. After some quick back and forth we narrowed down a direction or two to pursue further.
I went ahead and made a slew of vector options, playing with elements size, color, placement, etc. until we settled on what is the face of the show now. I still think "FUCK YOU. GO LISTEN TO GELMANIA" is one of my better ideas. Maybe a shirt?! Come on Brett, let's make a shirt!

EARWOLF CHALLENGE LOGO // DTAFM
This was one of the easiest logos I got to put together for Earwolf. I provided a handful of color options [first image] and we finally settled on the yellow and dark blue combo [second image].
