A proud Grandad moment here. The girls have worked hard this year taking care of their steers, and studying the beef industry. They earned their way to the winners circle. Came away with the Grand Champion, the Reserve Grand Champion, and the fourth place steer, each one of them bred and raised here on the ranch. They are very deserving of the awards they received. I’m very proud of both them, and the herd of cattle we have developed over the years. I thank God for the privilege of living the life we live. God is good!

Not many people understand this, but cattle showing is my sport. It's what I do. My friends have been talking about where they're all going over the summer while I plan how early and how late I'm going to be up working with my steers
