Sooo Dallas went out into the show ring by himself on the 2nd. Him and his Mama went into a class coming out 3rd (grand champion and a $30,000 cow came out ahead of us). Once we were out of the ring, I handed off his Mama to a friend to walk her back to the trailer to rest, and I took Dallas into the staging area. We were the next class. He weighed in at 160 lbs, the lightest bull in the show at a month old, and the heaviest bull in his class was 690 lbs. The judge placed us 7th out of 9 originally. When the judge took another look at the line up he pulled us out to 4th in the class! All of the bulls in our class were at least 6 months old if not more. I can’t wait for his show career. We’ll be travelling around the USA if all goes to plan for the next few years.
