showhost gijinka... perhaps? I also wanted to say i love ur art! the way you draw expressions, the designs for the ii characters... I'm also fond of how MePhone looks in your style, especially his showhost version! ^^

TY anon !! and sorry it took me this long to respond to this, unfortuntely. tumblr LITERALLY locked me out of using the site [it wouldn't fucking load] so i haven't been able to use it for months. but ANYWAYS. Showhost and Mephone are technically different characters ! i've stated that a few times on my twitter but i don't really talk over here so i'm restating it here for the hell of it. on to his gijinka, i've drawn him a few times previously so let me place them here in reverse chronological order. And if he looks a little "basic mephone design" that's on purpose ! Showhost is basically "what if mephone had an alter sourced off his Fanon self ?" but with a few more layers onto it

During their high school years, Skeppy and Bad used to do commentary for their football team. It started during freshman, when they got bored watching Dream in the field. Eventually they grew attached and during Sophomore, the football coach hired them to do more. Soon, they had their own club where people did challenges they hosted while they did commentary on it. After their graduation, they moved in together and started a show. (1/3)

adding on the showhost au: sometimes either skeppy or bad would participate in the events. they usually compete against friends when it happens.

before the challenge starts, each of them must make an intro. everytime it gets to the competing host's part, bad likes to whisper words of encouragement and make skeppy feel confident about winning. skeppy does the same, only louder and with good luck hugs.

its a must for them to communicate with their contestants during the challenge. during that time, the duo often showed favoritism for each other. sometimes when vurb finn or their other friends are too busy teasing one another, skeppy and bad liked to talk about their day and wait for them to finish.

when one of them competes, the other will always be rooting for them. not just becauses they're hosts doing their job, but also because they love each other and they genuinely have fun. ~🍄
