What's your plan for Strongarm in your Au (me asking as a rid15 Strongarm hater)
Sorry this took a minute to respond, I’m not feeling well rn and I’ve been STRUGGLING to figure out how to answer this in a non too spoilery way but still good???? Idk if I did that but uhh..Strongarm yeah 👍👍👍
Anyway— Strongarm in my version story wise is roughly the same? Ig? But she will have actual character growth, that was one of my biggest issues with her in the actual show, tbh my biggest issue with everyone.
In the au she is very socially awkward, doesn’t know how to interact with people, and this was only made worse by the way she was being taught at the academy and by her mentor Prowl (sorry to all the nice prowl fan out there I’m also upset). This will cause a similar issue to what Magnus had going on in TFP, where he only knew how to interact with people via giving them orders, that’s how Strongarm is acting (a real stick in the mud)
But on top of this, she’s also being taught some more…questionable things. For example, she, out of the entire team, is most likely to pull out a weapon, like her blaster, on anyone she views as a threat. Which a threat in her eyes can be as small as Sideswipe doing donuts in the plaza (he was only endangering himself)
When Bee, Sideswipe, and Strongarm got stuck on Earth, Bee took this golden opportunity to teach her better from this…questionable system. He’s been trying to teach her better for a while now, but his work kept getting undone by the academy 💔💔
So to put simply, she will start as a very trigger happy cadet who constantly treats others like they’re lower than her (because she’s been taught they are), except Bee, and expects them to listen to what she says because of that (I’m your superior officer you will do as I say!!!)—
—To being more humble, compassionate, understanding towards the prisoners she and the team are having to deal with on Earth, as well as being nicer to her own team. She is still very stubborn ofc and that’ll never change, but her stubbornness shows in more..ok ways now? Bee and Chief Burns will be proud of her improvement 🙏🙏🙏
