Look, this wasn’t his fault. This was entirely the fault of the person who bought him a remote controlled toy car at a fan-meet. Anyway, more talk about what happened here:
Bored out of his mind, he’d been done with hair and make-up for about an hour now, waiting for his group’s turn to record. To occupy himself, he sat on the couch and watched the blue toy car buzz and whip around as he toggled the controls idly. Tons of idols were around, in groups and as solo acts, all scheduled to record their performances for the broadcasting tomorrow evening. The remote controlled car was pretty fast for a toy, and he wondered why, of all things to give him, someone would have thought of that. He wasn’t complaining, and he already had tons of video on his phone for Instagram and Snapchat alike; he was sure the fan would be more than pleased with the response to their gift.
The toy car got near the door and Yukwon stopped it there, having the car turn slightly so it had access to the hallway--and the open door across from the room they were in. Who was preparing in there again? MONSTA X, wasn’t it?
With a grin and his finger pushing forward on the control box, the toy car whizzed into the group’s room. Confused murmurs spread about immediately, and it wasn’t long before the buzzing of the toy came to a sudden stop. What the--are you okay? Yukwon heard, and his expression fell as he stood up, moving closer to the door with the remote in hand to peek into the neighboring room.
From what he could see, it looked like the toy car went straight for Hyunwoo, slamming into the side of his shoe then running it over, hitting the wall afterward. He couldn’t imagine it actually hurting all that bad, considering the toy was made of plastic and he might have been exaggerating before about it’s speed, but regardless; he could have made a better impression than that.
