The Artist and His Model

Shoji: walks up behind Tokoyami and wraps his arms around his waist as he looks over his shoulder at what he was drawing. “And you didn’t even ask me to model for you.”

Tokoyami: feels his face heat up slightly. “I didn’t want to wake you up for something I’ve come very familiar with.”

Shoji: “You’re too sweet, but you know you would have had a better view if you would have asked me.”

Tokoyami: “It’s always better to have you modeling for me, but you needed your sleep.”

Shoji: “And you didn’t. We stayed up pretty late.”

Tokoyami: “I needed to draw this. I couldn’t stay in bed any longer.”

Shoji: Lightly kisses Tokoyami’s cheek. “Come to bed now.”

Tokoyami: “Alright.”

Big Hug

I love the though of Shoji walking up behind Tokoyami and surrounding him with his arms in a great big hug.

Tokoyami: in the kitchen pouring himself a cup of coffee, clearly still half asleep.

Shoji: walks into the kitchen and notices that the other isn’t all there. He then walks behind Tokoyami and carefully tugs him into a hug. “Morning.”

Tokoyami: doesn't reply but instead sinks into the warm hug.

Shoji: “Did Dark Shadow keep you up all night.”

Tokoyami: Nods his head. 

Shoji: “Why are you up now?”

Tokoyami: “We had plans.”

Shoji: “We can make new plans. Let’s just stay in today and watch Animal Planet or something.”

Tokoyami: Hums in agreement.

Shoji: “Let’s go then.”

dark shadow: “maybe we can collect stuff to impress him with our room.”

tokoyami: “no”

dark shadow: “we could sing to him”

tokoyami: “no”

dark shadow: “lets make a stage and dance for him”

tokoyami: “absolutely not.”

shoji: from across the room. “you could just ask me out.”

tokoyami: looks at dark shadow in silence.

shoji: “it could work.”

tokoyami: “would you-”

shoji: “of course.”

Glowing Hearts part 1

Black Birds

 It was a gloomy, rainy day outside, but inside the café was warm and welcoming. The smell of brewing coffee floated in the air and soft music played. This, along with the weather,  encouraged people to stay and chat with their friends even after they had finished their coffee and light meal. This café was the perfect place to also come to be alone if you just needed a place to relax.

           That was unless you were Tokoyami. He had come to this café thinking he could have a moment to himself before he had to head off to work. It was going very well until he seen an old friend from high school walk into the door. He hadn’t spoken to anyone from high school in five years. But that didn’t change the fact, that his heart sped up and he started to panic slightly.

           Shoji Mezo had been a guy of very little words back in high school, but was one of the most respectful. Tokoyami couldn’t recall of any rumors spreading about him. He had been well liked among the school.

           So why was it that Tokoyami started panicking seeing Shoji? From his reaction, people could probably get the wrong idea and wrongly label the other as his high school bully. Then there could be the people that would label it as a high school sweet heart relationship gone wrong. Both would be wrong. In fact, Shoji and Tokoyami didn’t actually know each other very  well. Although Shoji made it his business to show Tokoyami kindness when it mattered the most.

magic touch

Tokoyami: walking in the dorm rubbing his shoulder

Shoji: notices and walks behind the other and starts massaging his shoulders

Tokoyami: sighs out in relief

Shoji: “Better?”

Tokoyami: “Yes, thank you.”

Shoji: goes to step away

Tokoyami: “Please don’t stop.”

Shoji: “Step into my office and we can continue.” motions to a chair

Tokoyami: gladly takes a seat

don't ignore me

okay maybe this is only funny in my head cause im tired or maybe its just cause im a stupid ass, but picture this. Shoji and Tokoyami just had this petty argument and maybe Tokoyami is just trying to work things out in his mind and Shoji is just being a concerned boyfriend and after being ignored by Tokoyami for a bit too long, its just like okay “time to stop sulking” so he just tosses some fries at Tokoyami from across the lunch table.

Shoji: “Stop ignoring me.” 

Tokoyami: a bit shocked by the behavior looks at the French fries that were thrown at him “Did you really just toss fries at me?” 

Shoji: just watches and waits.

Dark Shadow: Bursts from under Tokoyami’s cloak “MINE!”

Shoji: is grinning like crazy

Tokoyami: “You let Dark Shadow watch Finding Nemo last night didn’t you?”

shoji and tokoyami

okay so I don't know the ship names for these two, but I like this pair. 

so I was sitting here “what do you call them?” when I looked them up, I couldn’t find a ship name. everything just said shoji x tokoyami. so I decided to call them “octobird” along with tokoji and shoyami.

if they have a different ship name id love to know it
