I don’t remember the last time I’ve featured a free game, so I’m gonna do it this time. Tram-panic! is an arcade game for Windows and Android and comes from Bit-R Games a.k.a. Bitr Blok Games, a collective of game design students from Toronto’s Gorge Brown College. No wonder then, that Tram-Panic! happens in downtown Toronto, since a tramway runs literally in front of the school (enjoy my investigative journalism skills with this Google Street View evidence).
The game’s creative and art director Sean ‘Shramper’ Browning has been posting about the game in our little Pixel Art Academy practice community over the last years (has it been that long already?) so it was nice to see this finally out and about.
If you want to lay down your guns and give a go at the life of a streetcar operator to do some good in the world for a change, grab Tram-Panic! for zero dollars on Itch.io or Google Play.
