you do realize that killing and hurting people for a political opinion, even fucked up one, is fascism right? its not a right wing exclusive method. and the right wing only gains power because politics have gone to far left, leaving things that are still a huge issues to many people, that do not involve white supremacy or racism, open for nazis to pick up and draw people to the right. but please, go on and attack those people so they stay there so that our grand children have to deal with it.
No, I don't realise that attacking people for being Nazis is fascism. Mostly because it isn't fascism by any actual definition of that word; fascism is a specific type of highly authoritarian state that is by definition characterised as being far-right. In addition, the idea that things have gone 'too far left' is itself a misconception specifically spread by fascists. Shutting down fascists and neo-nazis so that they can't speak their ideas in the public forum is the only possible recourse we have. When they are able to spread their ideas into the mainstream through debate, this legitimises them and their positions. We've already seen this pretty strongly through the shift of the overton window so that a video game that involves fighting literal Nazi mass-murderers is viewed as a political statement. A political statement that is received with the same level of response that you've just shown to me.This? It's going to get a lot of people killed. The last time Nazism was considered a legitimate political philosophy in the public sphere, an estimated eighty million people died.
