Kiseki holds a lot of respect for Gorou, coming partly from the fact that Gorou sort of understands what it is exactly that Kiseki does and partly that Gorou could very easily beat Kiseki into a pulp.

At first, though, Kiseki thought Gorou was... annoying and gullible. An obstacle that needed to be gotten rid of. Kiseki even planned to kill Gorou pre-merger by drugging him and then taking him to the volcano Animus destination to melt his head in lava.

Yep.

It wasn't until after the merger that Kiseki shifted his sights a little wider (even then, he still planned on framing gorou) and Kiseki still didn't even really like Gorou until Hikaru was like "haha yeah we're bffs now!" Kiseki still didn't 100% trust Gorou even after they partnered up, and didn't really ease out of that until Gorou put himself between Kiseki and Shun in the final trial, and cemented in Mr Instigator's mind that Gorou was dependable. Now, Gorou is one of the three people Kiseki actually likes.

And on the other hand, Kiseki is very intensely jealous of Gorou. I mean, Gorou is strong, intelligent, honorable, all around a nicer person than Kiseki is... All things he wishes he could be. And he doesn't believe people are capable of changing who they are at their core, so he just thinks that Gorou was born a better, more interesting person than Kiseki was. I think he even voiced that he was bitter about it at one point, during one of their private threads.

I feel like I'm still missing something but idk what it is...

Already minus points for being friends with Naori and potentially ‘her crowd’ (Chiemi stop). More minus points for embarrassing her. Yet….meh, he’s ok. Why doesn’t she hate him? He’s useful, more or less. Though to be honest, she TOTALLY thought Gorou was the Tartarus MM. She found info/a clue or two (probably more. Like JEEZ she had notes) about someone who was super violent and shit in the Tartarus machine and well, THAT Is why she pushed so hard for a MM vote until people listened FINALLY. Only to not give her time to TALK when she had her facts together! …So yeah, she thought he was the Tartarus MM and that’s why she tried to seem ‘friendly’, even ‘concerning’ towards him when they went to Tartarus. When she found he was actually a mole to Wakana, it didn’t surprise her that he was involved. She respects him for getting out of that bs and putting on his big boy pants to bring the MMs down, but she’s still wary of him. Is she REALLY worried over his whole ‘he could get hurt worse b/c wow bad injuries’ thing? Nah. That was total bs. And it probably didn’t work. She totally tried to play him. And he probably didn’t buy it at all. As long as he keeps his distance and doesn’t mess with her pals or gf, they’re good. But they’ll never be bros unless they cross paths a lot or find good reason to do so? Finally, Chiemi disapproves of his talent completely because she finds it dangerous and reckless. Still, since he survived, if they’re both in NY during her next tour and he wants to see a show, she might give him tickets. Maybe. If they’re on good terms at the time. But I doubt they’ll seriously talk much. Unless they like…pass each other in the big apple or whatever, because she is there a LOT!

and maybe one instance where Hikaru is drinking from the river downstream only to hear cackling a short distance away. He looks up to see Aqua pissing into the water. Gross gagging ensues and more beers are offered after.

Gorou and Kosuke had a bit of a rocky start in week 6, following the execution of Kikuyo. The false waiter's line with the juice was incredibly unnecessary, and nearly made Kosuke write him off entirely as one that he would not be speaking with again.

And then, out of nowhere, during the week 10 investigation, Gorou approaches Kosuke and wants to share mastermind information with him, because he knows that people listen to what Kosuke has to say. Then he gave him a shotgun too. That was pretty rad.

Kosuke was not expected to be trusted by him, and even if they didn't get along or see eye to eye, they were able to work towards a common goal.

Besides Rune, there was probably no one Wakana cared more about, no one she wanted to see leave, to see happy.

Even at the end, Wakana loved Gorou. She had been in love with him for a long time, and she'd given up the chance of being with him when she erased his memories and he still trusted her in the new game... and so....!! AND SO.... WHEN SHE REALIZED HE NO LONGER WISHED TO ALIGN HIMSELF WITH HER IDEALS SHE COULDN"T??? DO ANYTHING. SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. SHE WANTED TO HUG HIM, TO BE WITH HIM, AND HE REJECTED HER AND SHE REALIZED THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY IT COULD BE.

SHE FUCKED IT UP AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO FIX IT AND ALL SHE CAN DO IS HOPE THAT... HE CAN BE FREE NOW. THAT HE CAN RIDE HIS MOTORCYCLE AND BE WITH NAORI AND BE HAPPY.

FALLS DOWN AND STOPS MOVING because it was p quiet during the game but i really shipped them a lot and I KNEW IT WAS ENTIRELY IMPOSSIBLE THE MOMENT SHE CAME OUT AS MASTERMIND

GOROU INOUE★★★★★☆ 5/6 ! woah!ally 

"I hope the last three months have treated you well? It's good to see you again!" 

Saori used to be kind of terrified of Gorou. He had such a strong voice in trials, she was pretty intimidated she'd say something that might... annoy him. Which is pretty funny considering she spent the entire game up until that point not really carrying what people thought about her, but he was?? He seemed to know exactly what he was doing and what he wanted to do and if you weren't useful then what you said did not matter in the slightest. And Saori wanted to be useful...! 

But then he popped in when she was speaking to Naoki, and she saw the two of them completely different, so much that she really really wished she had a relationship like that with someone? She also really wished she could get to know the two of them more because they both... looked so happy. She thought really fondly of them like dang. 

And then that opinion only got better when he came by to check out the email (1. he was still focused on getting out) and then asked for help with the bear (2. very thoughtful!!). Saori and Gorou sitting on the ground surrounded by a mess of fabric is still my,, favorite thing,, 

The final mastermind discussion Saori was even more impressed (though, not really surprised), and!! trust!! high opinion!! positive!! 

YEAH MAN... GOROU WAS A COOL KID...
