(As an aside, other than MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS I think Natsuya would probably be into indie/rock and generally sort of angry/rebellious kind of songs? He's a quiet, reserved kind of person, but he's got a lot of anger and resentment and bitterness inside him in general, and I think he'd like "shout"-y kind of songs? Not too "scream"-y, though. Loud noises make him anxious.)

the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep — where they’re not supposed to

USUALLY ON SOFAS...Natsuya has a rough time sleeping, usually, so he's dead-tired most of the time and if he gets somewhere warm and comfortable for long enough he can just sort of. Nod off. He also actually tries to sleep whenever he's on a car journey, because? Natsuya is very anxious in and around cars and vehicles in general, and just doesn't like thinking about them for too long, so he tries to distract himself by sleep or music or...anything. Except he has a tendency to try this tactic on short travels, too, and it can be kind of embarrassing to have to be woken up after ten minutes in a car. (When he was younger, he'd fall asleep in cinemas, too, but he can't really afford to do that now, because he is an Actual Film Critic, and movie critics falling asleep fifteen minutes into the movie they're scheduled to review would be embarrassing.)

Those trivia knowledge quiz games. Natsuya loves looking into things, and sometimes researches on random subjects just for the hell of it. He has a lot of Random Knowledge, so he'd be good to have on your team for those kind of games. You can just see the anime sparkles appear in his eyes whenever a movie question comes up.

THE FUNNY THING IS NATSUYA...USUALLY DOESN'T GET ENOUGH SLEEP...

Basically? Sort of slow on his feet. Perpetually cold, constantly tugging his jacket and/or shirt back onto his shoulders. Tends to not have the energy too much. Very prominent dark circles under his eyes. Pauses, stammers, and speaks slower than usual. Often has a headache. Murmurs his thoughts out loud to himself now and again. Generally looks like a corpse on legs, to be honest.

HOT BERRY/LEMON/WHAT HAVE YOU DRINKS WITH SOME HONEY MIXED IN...hot chocolate is also v good and he likes it.

Movies. He surrounds himself with them in any way possible, and throws himself into critic-things. Whether it's drafting up a review, answering blog comments, fixing up his wall of film posters, watching a movie and shit-talking it a bit, Natsuya's automatic response is to surround himself with cinema things, because Natsuya's talent is the one thing about himself he's definitely genuinely proud of? And films are his long-time passion, so it's easy to switch his thoughts to them.

Barring that, Natsuya tries to hang around other people! His aunt is obviously his go-to person for throwing off the Solitude Blues, but honestly, anyone will do. He doesn't even have to talk to them, because just being around others makes him feel a little less alone, although too large crowds make him nervous. This is mostly because Natsuya Nijisaki is just straight-up a very, very lonely person. A lot of the reason he was so out of it during the mutual killing was because until the very end of things he felt like he just didn't have anyone he could consider a friend to go talk to, and he figured the few people he could consider allies wouldn't want to waste their time on his Emotional Bullshit. (Honestly, a part of the reason he appreciates Misaki a lot is that she didn't seem to mind his griping too much.)

what they wanted to be when they grew up

LAUGHS...Natsuya pretty much had his sights set on being a writer or musician of some sort from a young age! There were other careers he daydreamed about, but even as a kid he figured there was no possibility of reality to them, thanks to his poor health. His film criticism was much more a hobby than a career until his aunt suggested it could become one, although he very much fancied the idea of being an Actual Real Serious Film Critic.

Cool, pleasant, relaxing Autumn weather, slight warmth with a nice breeze. Nothing too overbearing or illness-inducing is preferrable.

Natsuya's singing voice is actually quite good! He has an excellent lyrics memory and he obviously puts his all into whatever he's singing. It's actually probably more pleasant to listen to than his speaking voice, since he pauses and stops and stammers far less. His only problem is that he has a tendency to be...loud. He kind of accidentally ends up shouting, so volume control is...something he needs to work on. Other than that, he's generally quite decent!

how/what they like to draw or doodle

Small sketches on the corners of papers, mostly of whatever pops into his head! Sometimes he does random pictures of rocks, sometimes he tries to draw pictures of his classmates. They turn out...debatably well, but not insulting. Writing is generally more of his forte than drawing, predictably.
