On An Island In The Sun (open!)

Vacations were few and far between in Junko's busy life. She was so used to constantly having things to do that stopping to smell the roses was hardly an option for her. However, thanks to the school's field trip, she had a chance to stop and smell the sea breeze instead.

There were a few other people on the beach, as was to be expected. She wondered for a moment how the school could afford to bring its students to a place like this, but she shook the thought out of her head. Why not just enjoy it while it lasts?

Today's outfit (what was a fashion girl without the wardrobe to prove it) consisted of a black bikini with white polka dots, a white sarong around her hips with black and red flowers on it, and some oversized sunglasses. The sarong swayed in the breeze as she found a good spot on the beach to lay out her long beach chair. Maybe she'd go for a swim later, but for now she just wanted to enjoy the sun and the fresh air. She was starting to feel more relaxed already.

Evening Wear((open dance thread!))

For a school dance, Junko had to admit this one wasn't too shabby. The music was actually current and popular, the decorations more tasteful than cheap streamers and paper flowers. In fact, she was even willing to concede that she was having a good time. 

Taking a break from the commotion of the dance floor, Junko took a seat at one of the tables that had been set up on the other side of the room. Maybe it was just endorphins from all the dancing, but she was genuinely having a good time. It seemed like most of her classmates were, too.

Looking For Trouble ((open))

Junko took a look around her room. Her homework was finished, she'd been through her workout routine already, her dress for the dance was hanging in her closet... Everything she had needed to do was done. There was nothing left for her to do today... And it was only about four in the afternoon. 

She felt a little disappointed. She had expected Hope's Peak to keep her more stimulated than this. Judging by the time on the wall clock, plenty of other students should still be out and around campus. Junko checked herself in one of the many mirrors around her room. She stopped to fix her hair and reapply her mascara before she went out to see what sort of students she might run into today. Let it never be said that I can't find ways to make my own fun.

Tech Help((8bithacker))

Mikan sighed, putting her head down on the desk. How do computers work? How do people understand what to do...?

All afternoon, she'd been trying to access the student files on the nurse's computer in order to report sick and injured students the way the nurse herself was supposed to, but all she'd managed to do was frustrate herself. Why isn't she ever here? she asked herself, How hasn't she been replaced yet? Bolting upright, she reminded herself, B-but I don't know her situation, so I can't just judge, and I should really be more careful about assuming things about a person...

Maybe I can ask for some help? she asked herself, glancing up at the clock, But it's so late... I can't just disturb someone at this hour...

Mere moments later, she heard the clicking of shoes coming down the hall. Maybe... Maybe I can ask this person for help! she thought desperately, working up her courage. Before her mind could tell her no, she poked her head out the door and called, "U-Um, c-could you please h-help me?"

Cutting Class ((open!))

Junko loved being able to talk her way out of classes.The teachers were left confused or impressed when she was done with them, either of which suited her just fine.  Sure, she attended class sometimes. She couldn't afford to skip out every day, after all, this was a school. 

She deposited her textbooks in her locker, plotting out her course for the afternoon. Maybe she'd find a nice, trendy cafe in the city for an early lunch. Or perhaps she'd visit in on other classes and get to know some of the other students better. For a brief moment, she considered going back to her dorm room to get a head start on her plans for tomorrow. The thought was quickly dismissed; it was too beautiful a day to waste on that.

Cleaning the Storage Closet((Open!))

Mikan was giddy with excitement. Finally, she got to help a real nurse with real equipment and everything! Sure, she'd done plenty on her own, but that certainly didn't beat the experience of actually getting to help in a real clinic. Maybe this WAS a good idea, she thought to herself as she approached the infirmary's desk, After all, it's more about improving my skills than making friends, isn't it...?

As she approached, the nurse raised her head. "Ah! Tsumiki-san, right?" Too excited and nervous to answer, Mikan merely nodded in assent. "What a relief! You don't know how much I've needed a helper!" Grabbing Mikan's hand, she led the young lady into a back room. Once the light was turned on, though, Mikan's dream come true turned into a nightmare. Inside was the biggest mess she'd ever seen, and the nurse was already saying to her, "First, I'd like you to clean up the storage closet! Can you get it done by tomorrow morning, please?" Mikan speechlessly stared at the piles of disorganized syringes, boxes, and pill bottles littering the room, desperately fighting down the urge to scream at how unsanitary all this was. How was this nurse even working here?!

As she exited, the nurse said over her shoulder, "Oh, and someone should be coming by to help in a bit. I think the other students are drawing lots right now, so surely some other sap's gonna end up in there with you."

First Day((Open!))

Mikan quietly stepped up to the gate, wringing her hands together in apprehension. What are people going to think of me? she asked herself, What if I can't make any friends?! 

Realizing how bad an idea this had been all along, she turned on her heel to leave before things got even worse - unexpectedly bumping into somebody in her path! Even as she fell to the ground, she was already scolding herself, Stupid! Why wasn't I watching where I was going?! 

As she looked up at the poor soul she'd bumped into, she was already gushing, "S-s-sorry! I'm so sorry! It's all my fault, I'm t-terribly sorry!" only to blush in astonishment as her new acquaintance offered her a hand.
