To be completely honest, I'd been considering leaving this group for a couple of days now. Much like Mukuro-mun, replying became more stressful than fun for me and.. well, if you're not having fun with your hobby it's time to find a new one, or at least let that one go.

I'll still be floating around the internet, as ever. I do have a lot of you added on skype, but if  anyone else wants to keep in touch that's great, just drop me a line and we'll figure it out! ouo

In any case, I had fun here, and I met some great people, and I don't regret it at all. I'm sure you guys will find a new Junko lickety-split anyways.

Sayaka nodded again. “I see! That’s true. I’m sure there’s all sorts of talents that others don’t see as real talents. I bet there’s even people out there that do not consider being an idol a talent!" She giggled a bit, thinking that would be silly since singing is a true talent.

She nodded. “Hmm that does sound good. I am kind of in the mood for a salad." She smiled at her. She wasn’t supposed to have too many dessert items even if she wanted them. Even though, a cookie did sound nice right now.

"That's another great thing about this place: I get to be in charge of what I eat. I was always on these really dumb restrictions, so it's nice to actually be able to enjoy my food for once." Junko smiled at the thought. It was all within reason, of course, she knew how to stay healthy. But now she could do things like have a few sweets now and then without anyone breathing down her neck about it. 

There were a few students who were scattered about the cafeteria at this time of day. Junko hadn't failed to notice how some of them had seen the two girls enter, and she was certainly aware of some of them whispering to each other. She'd anticipated the two of them being seen together to start a buzz, and smirked at how easy it was to get peoples' attention without even trying.

Sayaka nodded. “I agree! I wonder what other sort of talents have been accepted—" She paused for a moment. “A…gang leader and a magician?" She didn’t see how those were exactly talents but..she would give those people a chance. “Well, I bet they’re really good at what they do! Hope’s peak only accepts the best right?" She smiled happily.

She walked up to the cafeteria. “Ahh thank you!" She walked in and looked around. “Hm, what are you getting Enoshima-san? There are many choices here."

"That's the idea," Junko nodded in agreement. "From what I can tell, they're good at what they do. Then again, I'm sure there are some people who wouldn't consider modeling a talent either. You have to know what it takes to really appreciate a talent that way," she mused.

Following Sayaka into the cafeteria, she considered the question for a moment. "I dunno, I'm in the mood for something sweet. Maybe I'll see what kind of cookies they have here." She smiled at the idea.

"Right! Thank you very much for the advice!" Junko seemed to have an idea for everything. Naegi made a mental note to mention polar bears in his paper.

Junko had said something about travelling “coming with the job". The job? Naegi wondered what she meant by that. He spent a moment thinking and then it hit him. “The job" that she was referencing probably had something to do with her SHSL talent! 

But what could her talent be? Well, first of all, it involved a lot of travelling. She had also mentioned “other girls". Other girls who apparently liked to party. Naegi tried to guess what her talent might be, but nothing was really coming to his mind. It was probably best to just ask her.

"Enoshima-san, this job of yours wouldn’t have anything to do with your SHSL talent, would it?"

Junko laughed, amused that he'd caved and asked the question. "It sure would. I'm the Super High School Level Fashion Girl. Modeling, as a full-time thing, is almost as glamorous as it sounds and twice as messy. That whole industry does a great job at keeping certain things behind the scenes, for sure." Comments spilled out one after another, trying to match the pace at which her mind cycled through them. 

Naegi was certainly polite, she liked that about him. He also seemed impressed with her, which counted in his favor. Junko liked being around people who could appreciate her for what she was worth, even if few of them knew the true measure of it. 

"Since we're getting to know each other, what might your talent be, Naegi?" She'd figured he wouldn't have asked if he wasn't likewise prepared to answer.

Sayaka nodded and giggled. She agreed with her there. “You do have a point. Not everyone can make it to Super High School Level like we can!" She giggled again. She was proud of herself for making it this far, that was obvious.

She tilted her head. “Eh? Really? Heh…I was in the middle of recording too. I’m sure they did give you looks! They just wish they were as fortunate as you to get accepted into Hope’s Peak." She smiled at her happily. She had a lot in common with Junko.

"That's for sure," Junko agreed. "It's kind of scary to think about how many students try to get into this school every year.They only accept a handful, and you never know who they're going to select. I mean, a gang leader or a magician is kind of an unlikely example of a talent. But people like that have made it in, so I suppose you just have to be the best at whatever you love." 

"Oh, we're here," she noticed, observing the cafeteria sign not far in front of them. Once they got to the door, Junko held it open for Sayaka to enter.

On An Island In The Sun (open!)

Vacations were few and far between in Junko's busy life. She was so used to constantly having things to do that stopping to smell the roses was hardly an option for her. However, thanks to the school's field trip, she had a chance to stop and smell the sea breeze instead.

There were a few other people on the beach, as was to be expected. She wondered for a moment how the school could afford to bring its students to a place like this, but she shook the thought out of her head. Why not just enjoy it while it lasts?

Today's outfit (what was a fashion girl without the wardrobe to prove it) consisted of a black bikini with white polka dots, a white sarong around her hips with black and red flowers on it, and some oversized sunglasses. The sarong swayed in the breeze as she found a good spot on the beach to lay out her long beach chair. Maybe she'd go for a swim later, but for now she just wanted to enjoy the sun and the fresh air. She was starting to feel more relaxed already.

First Day of School

"Oh, thank you!" Yuuka bowed. “I appreciate that. I hope we can be great friends in the future, Ms. Junko!" Yuuka stood back up and walked over to Junko. “I wonder if we have class together? That would be wonderful!!"

Junko smiled with amusement. This girl was rather straightforward. She seemed sincere too, which was not a trait Junko was entirely used to seeing yet. "I dunno, what classes do you have? I have history, language arts, art history, art, and physical education. I'm not sure what courses might be vital to a florist," she added, jokingly.

"That’s true! It’s just that most people seem disinterested when it comes to talking about the environment," Naegi said. Wow! Enoshima-san was very clever! he thought to himself.

"You’ve been to Europe? That must have been so exciting!" Junko didn’t seem incredibly phased by it though. She didn’t appear to be too worried about her paper either. It didn’t really seem like anything could get to her.

"Well, then you've gotta make them interested. The death rates of certain species of animals would be hard to ignore. Like polar bears. Everyone likes polar bears, right? You'll have their interest once you tell them that polar bears are dying due to global warming." Junko nodded, to emphasize her own point. 

"I've been plenty of places. It comes with the job, you know? And with whatever free time I did have there, I made sure to go important places, rather than squandering my time partying like the other girls." She wondered if that much information alone was enough for him to guess her talent. Maybe she'd make a game of it.

Sayaka smiled at her. “I’m glad it’s safe too." She tilted her head a bit. "…Cat fights?" She couldn’t help but be curious. Had Junko been in many fights before? Was she one of /those/ models who were really catty with other models? She wasn’t sure. She giggled lightly anyway though.

"Hm?" Sayaka looked at her when she spoke. “Oh…well…" She paused. “They’re happy for me I believe! They told me how great of an opportunity it was." She smiled again. “I do know they spoke of other idols they knew being…well jealous that it wasn’t them. Of course you know I got the usual hate, saying I didn’t deserve it and everything. But I’m used to that kind of stuff!" She nodded.

Junko nodded in the affirmative. "It's a high-pressure job, you know? Plus, it's every girl out for herself, and some of them just can't take the heat. I guess that's why none of them are Super High-School Level." She shrugged it off, as if the conflict didn't really matter to her.

"Oh? That's good, I'm glad to hear that they took it so well. I was actually working when I got the news, I had to leave the shoot in half-done makeup. Even some girls there who were too old to attend started giving me nasty looks when they heard," she explained. She hadn't had too many friend in her old line of work, but she didn't regard it as a huge loss.

"Oh, I’m doing mine on global warming… Nothing too exciting, but I think it might be bit more intriguing than soybean farming." Or maybe it wasn’t. It wasn’t exactly the most unique topic, but it would work. Naegi had agonized over what to write on for quite awhile before deciding on a topic. Global warming didn’t seem like it would be too difficult to write on, and he wasn’t really creative when it came to these types of things.

Was anyone actually planning on writing a paper on soybean farming? The idea had never even crossed Naegi’s mind. What could one even write about soybean farming? Naegi imagined that it would be somewhat difficult to find books on the subject.

"That sounds very fascinating, Enoshima-san! I would’ve never come up with an idea as good as that one!"

'Global warming scares people, so I'd say it's a little more interest-catching than that. After all, the extinction of entire species is something most people would want to claim they're interested in," Junko remarked.

"There's am abundance of information on the Renaissance, it's an easy enough topic for an art history class." She shrugged, entirely unconcerned for her own project."Besides, I've seen some of those places myself. I'd say I have an advantage over even the professor with that."

"…. I meant to go outside but other then that I don’t have any plans today. So I guess I can stay and …. hang out…." it was weird hearing those words out of her mouth, she would have never expected to hear herself saying them, considering how the only person her age she ever actually spent time with was Fuyuhiko. In another case Peko would have been a lot more wary of the request, as she assumed that the other girl liked interesting company with exciting lives who liked fun.

She didn’t consider herself any of those things but currently Enoshima probably needed a rest more then fun so she’d be as good as anyone else. “I apologize though, I’m not the best of company." Maybe she should get a chair and sit down?

"Thank you," Junko sniffled. "I just, I don't like being alone. I'm so used to being around other people. But I can't really go out today like this," she tried to explain her feelings to Peko, unsure if she was able to get them across accurately to the stoic swordswoman.

"I have a bunch of movies on my laptop, you could set it up on the desk and we could just watch one together," she offered. "You can even pick," she said, attempting a smile.

Sayaka nodded. “Oh I agree! They’re so kind to all of us so far." She smiled and nodded. “Heheh…you’ve got that right!" She giggled a little.

"Hm?" She listened up to what Junko had to say and giggled. “The classes are great! They’re very fast paced…not quite what I am used to but I met someone very nice to help me with my work if I need it!" She smiled happily. “The campus life is great too, the closet even fits all my clothes." She paused again then giggled more. “The boys here….hmm…they’re all quite nice and charming. Well, the ones I have met anyway!" She smiled happily.  "I would definitely have to say the atmosphere in general of the school. It just makes me feel very welcome." She nodded, thinking that Junko may have not wanted to hear all of her explanations. She was mainly thinking out loud to herself. “What about you? What’s your favorite part?"

There was a moment's silence as Junko considered the question. "My favorite part," she answered slowly, making sure she chose her words corerctly, "is the whole school environment. It's.. it's safe, you know? There are no hungry media-wolves at my door, and there are nowhere near as many catfights as I'm used to." She laughed that last statement off, true though it was.

A thought struck her as they walked. "Hey, Sayaka? How did the rest of your group react when they heard you were invited to this school?" Only once she'd said it did she realize how personal the question was, but her curiosity stood. Junko came from a world where women were expected to compete with each other constantly, so she expected a tale of jealousy and backbiting.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you as well, Enoshima-san!" Everything about this girl was glamorous, from her lively attitude to the way she dressed. Naegi felt rather small and unimportant in her presence. He wondered what her SHSL talent could be.

"Yeah, haha… I haven’t really done much with mine yet, so I thought I should probably get to work! I’m a bit of a procrastinator…"

"What subject are you doing yours on?" she asked, leaning over to actually get a peek at the title of the book. "I hope it's not something dull like soybean farming, that would be a shame. I mean, you'd think they'd have better topics for students like us, right?" 

"I'm here to look up sixteenth-century European architecture. Thrilling, right?" she continued unbidden, rolling her eyes at the last part. "It's not the way I wanted to spend my evening, but I guess it can't be helped, huh?" she said, smiling down at Naegi.

Sayaka nodded. “I agree!" She started walking towards the cafeteria with a jump in her step. “Oh really? I like it as well! Very many selections….I didn’t expect that at all out of a school cafeteria! I remember in middle school, the food wasn’t good." She giggled a bit.

As she continued to walk to the cafeteria with Junko, she had been thinking about what she thought of her as well. She seemed pretty nice so far. People like her did tend to have a..different side to them to say the least. She wondered if Junko had some sort of facade like she did? It was highly possible since she had a reputation to keep up with too. Maybe they could even bond over that? She wasn’t sure.

"Hope's Peak does go out of its way to cater to the needs of its students. After all, they're all about 'fostering greatness' and whatnot," Junko commented. "Hell, it's better than some craft service tables I've seen." 

"So, Sayaka, what's your favorite part of attending this school so far? The quality education, the campus life, the boys on campus?" she asked, teasingly. She didn't expect any scandalous answer to that. That was just what school friends did, right? Joked around? Besides, from what Junko had seen in the male segment of the student body, there was a lot to be desired.

"Mm, of course." Mahiru replied, grateful that Junko was willing to let her tag along. She was already considering ideas for them to try— it would depend on whether or not Junko wanted to sort of play a role, what kind of theme they’d work with… the lighting and the setting of course. But first, they’d need a theme. 

She broke out of her thoughts when Junko suggested they leave. “Right." She nodded and headed for the door, holding it open for the fashion girl so they could exit into the hallway. “There’re a ton of possibilities— but do you have a particular theme you’d like to work with?" It was nice, just doing something like this for fun rather than having a strict set of guidelines. On top of that, there was certainly a possibility they’d create something stunning with their combined talents.

Following Mahiru out, Junko considered the question. "Most of the shoots I've been involved in have been about selling a product and showing it off. I haven't had the chance to be in many editorials. Even then I didn't get much say in it, so this is kind of new to me," she explained. 

A sudden idea struck her. "Although, I have been interested in the idea of narrative photoshoots for a while. We could work with that, you know, tell a story through it?" She felt a little silly saying it out loud, but she wanted to hear Mahiru's input on the idea.
