Hanako runs her finger across the soot before sighing and taking another bite out of her orange, some how she was actually eating the rind wtf!??! Anyway Hanako does a few more things, she checks under the rug and under all the chairs, generally keeping a lookout while underneath everything

Hanako gets a sooty finger for her trouble. Nice.Why are you eating the rind Hanako. Do you not have taste buds? I am baffled.

There’s nothing but floor under the rug and chairs.

Hanako makes sure to put everything back, though she grabs a few oranges off the ground and keeps them on her mostly as a snack but it'd be useful to prove she tried looking for evidence. While taking a bite right into the orange (she didn't even remove the top layer stuff she just went right into it) she looks into the fireplace and some of the tools around it.

ShE’S EATING THE ORANGE WITH THE RIND ON??? JFC HANAKO WHAT ARE YOU.

The fireplace is empty and actually pretty clean, either it was cleaned recently or there haven’t been any fires lit in here in a while. There’s some soot ground into the inner walls of the fireplace but that’s about it.

There don’t actually seem to be any tools around the fireplace right now. Maybe the fireplace just isn’t used that often.

Hanako begins to poke around a bit, first looking over the large table. She pushes chairs around, moves bowls of fruit and checking under the table, anything?

Regrettably no. There’s nothing on or under the chairs, and beneath the table looks clear too. No one’s even stuck any gum up under there!

Moving the bowls of fruit doesn’t seem to do anything either- except some oranges tumble out when she’s moving the bowls around. Shoot! Why can’t she hold all these oranges?

It had been an hour but Hanako had finally decided to leave her room and go look around the castle; she didn't really want to but she did anyway. Her first stop was the Great Hall, is there anything noticeable by first glance?

By first glance? Nope. Looks the same as it always does.
