“You’re a worse of a killer than I am, y’know. Two people– you killed two people. I’m fuckin’ pissed at that. And your damned voice reminds me of myself, which doesn’t help, thanks Salty Almonds. Yaaaaaaay, I just can’t fuckin’ wait for the time– oh wait, you’re dead. Good fuckin’ bye.”
oh god jaehwa is such an asshole when it comes to killers ,,, despite how he’s killed someone (cries). what a hypocrite. he doesn’t like sully for many reasons, such as killing twice in the mutual killing, and killing two people who were pretty innocent seeming (unless they were secretly serial killers. oh god.)
(although at some point jaehwa would probably reflect back on these rly hypocritical feelings and just tsk at them)
he also doesn’t like sully because of their similar sounding voices as well?? it weirds jaehwa out and makes him a bit kinda… well, it goes into a field where jaehwa just doesn’t want to go back to anytime soon. (also this post made me laugh g od. voice pranks...)
overall jaehwa just doesn’t like sully (;w;) and doesnt really care about him especially after endgame… god he’s so mean !

I JUST NEED A REF YE
here are the natsuya refs! (note: scroll down for second ref in first link, second picture in last link)
as for the actual art, i haven't really had many specific ideas for it in particular? most of them are just natsuya in the centre of the pic on a background so you can pretty much do what you want with it!! if you can't really think of anything in particular, i do have one potential idea, so just message me if you want to know that one!!
SULEIMAN AHMED; SHSL ALTERNATIVE ROCK BAND SINGER;
????? [STATUS: Birds Of A Feather]
"Disgustingly selfish attention-seekers like ourselves get exactly what we deserve, huh? Maybe the only real difference between you and I is that I’m alive and you’re dead."
(*points at suleiman ahmed and natsuya nijisaki* literally the exact same character how did they get away with this)
Okay, so that quote is spoilery as fuck, but. Anyway!
Basically, from the moment he caught wind of what Sully’s talent was, Natsuya was…really pretty jealous of him because of it.
It was a pretty irrational envy? Natsuya doesn’t desire fame, really, he just very much desires attention; and, in an occupation like his, he was sure Sully got a lot of it. Natsuya is perfectly happy as a film critic, it was just that he was sure that the alt rock singer had to have something that attracted attention to him, somehow. Natsuya hadn’t been able to get him all that much, during the early days, given that he’d mostly just seen Sully pass out after Brynja’s death, so really, it was just. Him being bitter for the sake of being bitter.
Around the second trial, he was sort of…giving him the squinty eyes? Mostly because he seemed sympathetic to Shigeru, who Natsuya was having a metric ton of complicated (mostly negative) emotions about. Shigeru reminded Natsuya far too much of the worst (and, in his eyes, most prominent) parts of himself, and so he…kind of wanted to avoid having to think about All Of That Stuff. He tried to be good to Hana, since he thought she’d been manipulated by Shigeru, but if they were actually speaking to each other at that time, he might’ve had less patience with Sully. (This is kind of linked in with the fact that Natsuya tends to trust females and x-gender/non-binary individuals more than males, but anyway.) (Also, at the time, Natsuya didn’t know that Sully was essentially responsible for Shigeru’s death.)
…Aaaaaaaaaand then came the fourth trial! Boy.
That trial was basically a perfect case of the Bad Natsuya Feels. Misaki said something that set off his [REDACTED] badly, and Sully was yet another morally reprehensible person who reminded him strongly of himself. Natsuya ended up acting more reasonable towards Sully than he had towards Shigeru, which is mostly because he’d gone into his “numb state” and wasn’t in the right kind of mind to be yelling. Besides, most of the others had done that for him. Basically, all of this that Natsuya said to Sully?
"You…wanted this, didn’t you? Not death— you absolutely didn’t want that. You’d have killed every single one of us a thousand times over to avoid that, I’d bet. But…you want attention, don’t you? You like everyone’s focus on you. Nobody may love you here, anymore, but they…really hate you. They want you to burn…and therefore, they’re focusing their thoughts on you. It might not be the kind of attention you wanted…but you’re still dying with all eyes on you, aren’t you? It’s like…one last show…you can’t mess this one up, can you…? Everyone’s watching…"
Was basically Natsuya, in part, talking about himself. Especially in regards to the attention thing, because Natsuya really, really wants attention, positive or negative. Well, he highly prefers the former, and doesn’t actually like being hated, but he’s conditioned himself to think that it’s better than nothing. Indifference is the absolute worst thing to Natsuya; and his biggest regret in Pars Venatic is not making a bigger impression on people, of any kind.
(Also, had Natsuya been in Sully’s position, he would definitely have played himself up as this utterly terrible, horrible, irredeemable person; because that would make the others loathe him, and if that was the only attention he could get? Well, he’d deal with it.)
For a while after the singer’s execution, Natsuya…tried to avoid thinking about him, honestly. Mostly because he realised how fucked-up it was that he could sympathise with someone who seemed as Obviously Terrible as Sully did, so he just wanted to…try to push him away from his memory.
After another while, though? He sort of…mellowed down a bit. Natsuya was just too tired to hate people through the entirety of Pars Venatic, and Sully was no exception. He seemed like a piece of shit to Natsuya and he kind of hoped P.K. and Aya were kicking his ass in the afterlife or something, but he didn’t really have enough energy to hate him.
Actually, he…kind of wanted to speak with Sully! It was strange, given usually if someone reminds Natsuya of the worst parts or the past version of himself, he doesn’t ever want to get near to them, but he was actually interested in understanding Sully, because hey, selfish attention-seekers club represent, how’d you end up like this. Probably had more reason than I did.
I actually was planning on Natsuya to call him up, but alas, Mr. Mastermind was caught before it could happen. Still, I don’t know if he’d ever directly approach him, but if he was to ever meet Sully on some plain of existence or in some vaguely possible way, he probably wouldn’t mind talking to him, honestly! I think they could potentially have a pretty interesting dynamic.
(Also, predespair, I can see them chilling together sometime!)
Obviously in predespair morality or lack thereof wouldn't have come up (tho thats something else :^) ) so he would just be?? that guy in class who's sorta narcissistic. I think?? I don't know if I told you but I sort of assumed Sully would volunteer to figure model for the art club which would be sort of appreciated, Shoko would humor him in that way. She wouldn't be annoyed by seeing him in the background of like almost every picture he had the ability to be a part of, sort of amused like, oh that Suleiman Ahmed.
