ShtH rewrite new boss concept, black arms corrupted artificial chaos. This new boss is found on the ark, at the end of the mission that involves a certain Croc and a computer room. Being a late game boss fight it has multiple phases/forms, this here is only the base form.

Seeing as Black doom claims that the artificial chaos are part of Gerald's legacy and like Shadow belong to them I figured he might try to "improve" upon them by making them part of the black arms.

Not final designs yet, but a work in process, feedback is welcome. While most of the Shadow the hedgehog rewrite bosses get destroyed by Shadow (the 3 new black arm generals, Black root, Black gale and black wyrm) or are existing characters, I am playing with the idea to make two of the new bosses stick around after the game story. Sonic has reoccurring rivals/villains, so why shouldn't shadow?

The Gold shadow android in boss battle still looks a lot like shadow, but being the one android with more advanced AI out of the latest line it would eventually wish to change its looks a bit after the game.

The purple colour in its design changes depending on the kind of chaos drive or emerald it absorbs. Its power is limited to the amount of fuel it has, so chaos drives is just a matter of outlasting it, but if it has a chaos emerald it can go much longer.

I actually have and idea for how a story re-introducing him would go, involving Omega ofc because I love him, but I'm holding off saying more a little longer because I'm still working some stuff out. His current working name is BOLT Black arms artificial chaos I want to reintroduce him in a story where Shadow returns to the ARK to deal with a gun team going missing there, it's up to Shadow to stop it. I don't really have a name for it. Black doom dying left this guy with a feeling of loss of direction now that it actually is in control of its own actions and not controlled by pure programming or an evil alien overlord, making him return back to the default of guarding the ARK for now- but it's also now a more advanced creature than it was before. In principle the artificial chaos were a weapon against forces such as the black arms, so being both is definitely a confusing time for it. Only Shadow and the other Artificial chaos would be able to communicate with it, but maybe Tails can figure something out- if Shadow asks him for help and it's Shadow, soooooo, they might be in trouble.
