Happy birthday, @Posido! Hope you're having an awesome day. This Photo was taken @ an #IOTAclub show that was very special to me. I was there mainly to settle a debt I had incurred during an earlier concert @EbenezersCoffeehouse that was supposed to be a @MargotMacDonald showcase, but Margot was out of the country in Costa Rica; so, she had @Mollyeh host an open mic that I was to photograph. I didn't have a real camera at the time; so, I ordered a Nikon D700 which would be my main live music camera for years. It arrived the day of the show, & it took me so long to gather accessories like a memory card that I was late for what would be my very first live music still shoot & missed @AmandaLeemusic's performance which opened it. I felt really bad about that & offered to come to a future show just to photograph her. This was that show. You were her #bassist while Amanda played guitar & sang. It was also the night I met @KateMoranband for the first time. Finally, it was the night I had the pleasure of introducing Amanda to Margot. It was a few days before Margot's birthday in 2011, and Margot was still 19. Cellist Dyana Yochem recruited Margot to play egg shaker for her band; so, we could get her into the 21+ club! ; ] @JustinTrawick also performed that night. Good times w/ great artists & special people.
