Controlled shugods and more thoughts on ep40

So in the latest (40th) episode we saw that controlled Shugods had glowing purple eyes

And it made me remember something from previous episodes, like in episode 4, where we had Kabutan with the same glowing eyes, when he was borrowed to Kaguragi from Racules

Back then, Kabutan's soul was purple instead of usual orange and it turned orange only under Gira and Kuwagon's influence

But that's not all!

God Kuwagata ZERO also has a purple soul!

Since Kabutan was serving Racules, could it be his power that turns Shugod souls purple? Or maybe it's God Kuwagata ZERO's power? After all, Racules special is supposed to take place between episodes 2 and 3, and God Kabuto is used at the end of episode 3, so it would fit in the timeline

Maybe God Kuwagata ZERO's colour is purple while God Kuwagata's is orange? And they can influence other Shugods this way? ZERO's attacks are also coloured purple

Although, back in episode 6, Shugods attached to God Kuwagata ZERO didn't have purple eyes. But to be fair, neither do their ZERO equivalents

Also, now that I watched 40th episode with subtitles, I'm quite possitive that Racules and Dugded lied about Gira. Or, at least, I'm convinced that not everything they said was true. I think they did it to spread misinformation, turn world against the kings and, in general, wreck some entertaining chaos

After all, there's still a question of Kuwagon's missing soul. When the kings were sent to Earth, Gira fought with Prince and then Kuwagon's energy "left his body" and entered... whatever Kyoryugers call their devices... if his ability came purely from being Dugded's creation, then I don't think that would be possible

All the Hasties also have those two red lines on their temples and they were also in possession of the resurrection machine that Racules gave to Desnarak. Even if it was all true, it still doesn't answer everything

From the preview and the title of the next episode ("Time to Save the Universe") I think (and hope) that this is the episode where Racules reveals his true intentions and the brothers will join forces against Dugded, but still, we'll see

y'know, looking at the fandom wiki page for the shugods, I really want an episode just dedicated to the kings working along side their kingdom's respective shugods.

because who was going to tell me that God Kamakiri can just sense people under rubble and can hear sounds of up to 160,000 hertz

or that God Tombo can see 2km in front of it?? Or God Papillon being able to camouflage?? ?

You know, I’m starting to wonder if Shugoddom Castle is actually a robot...

Wouldn’t be the first time they pulled something like that with robots like Max Magma, Galaxy Mega, DekaBase Robo, Gosei Ultimate and Bragigas (I don’t really put Orion Battler in this category because Orion started off as a different ship and Turbobuilder was introduced as a mobile combat-ready base from the start, it was practically a mecha to begin with so there was no reveal or conversion into a mecha or robo)

Maybe it will be like FFXIII Alexander and this is his Gestalt Drive mode lol

After Opening.

1-20, 22-36 & 39-48

I actually love the Shugods a lot especially in beginning where some of them had character sadly it only last a while... (I mean Shugods did join force with human force in the past so they got to have some character)

I kinda of wish there was an episode where Ohsama have argument with their Shugods instead of among themselves (I like to believe the Shugods actually judge their rulers whenever they are fighting among themselves). Yet given with all episode probably not able to do so. (10th anniversary?)

They are more than just machine! Especially E40 & E50 T.T

(I want to hear them being call by their real/true name by their rulers.)

I like fanfics & especially you just can come up with anything random.

I probably need to gather more facts & read more of the lore but I just come up weirder thought but I want more details about Shugods. Especially why they are Shugods Soul.

That I can’t help but think that 2,000 years ago the Shugods were like special insect creature that like had actual body with their soul intact that not mechanically like now?

Considering like they did join humanity against Bugnarak since they were eating them to gain power. Like they got to have some personality or something to actual make the decision to join the humanity right?

Considering isn’t Shugods Soul like inside an amber? Plus Dagded did have like head unit amber crystal & he did trap King inside one.

I can’t help but think does Dagded got anything to do with Shugods having Shugods Soul that is amber stone?

Like did he make their actual bodies into amber stone? Or remove their soul made them into amber stone?

Considering you need their soul in the cockpit to move? Since he also made Glodi who is filled with Shugods Soul inside of him.

Not to mention the Shugods are the one who sacrificed themselves in order to break his head unit amber crystal. Like it cancels out each other? (I could give reason why they still had their soul intact it almost like same reason how they made eternal life)

It almost like a fitting reason why they decided to sacrifice themselves because they know, what happens to them to be in this state and they wanted payback? I don’t know

While yes I wish Shugods has more background there were a lot going in the story so…this is my sudden take on them weeee
