Ask Box Rules
I'm open to any and all questions related to any of my AUs (see above for the ones I'll answer questions about) so feel free to send in asks about them I am very glad to answer questions / receive feedback :D
Just please, be respectful. I'll try my best to answer all asks but I do struggle with words sometimes so sorry if I don't answer it.
The fact the other Eclair candidates are still being used in merchandise for this season post reveal is actually a really good sign they still have plans for them.
Because colouring in books like these never include side characters regardless of how major unless they get some kind of transformation.
I’m putting money on them getting the Satoru/Daifuku treatment and getting an unnamed transformation that just so happens to be in the same style language as the Precures transformations.
ArcanaClair / KureLuka (I have no idea what their ship name is, but I've been sticking with ArcanaClair since the arc started and have no idea what's a good civilian alternative) but it’s Ena5 MizuEna cards.

I've been meaning to make a post talking about my stroke because y'all got bits and pieces of the recovery but I never actually told the story of HOW it went down and the thing is the type of stroke I had is usually the type young people have and since having mine i've now heard multiple stories of people under 40 having very similar strokes and the scary thing is, is that they didn't get help right away. Because you're young and healthy and sure you feel weird but it'll pass right? but it doesn't, and it gets worse, and by the time you get to the hospital (some people literally take days to go) the deficits are worse and recovery is harder.
so here's a super long post about strokes in general, and mine in particular/what I went through.
So for strokes the signs are abbreviated BE FAST. Balance loss, Eyesight changes, Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, -> Time to call 911.
Had I known those MAYBE I would have figured it out but my symptoms were a little mixed. I was reading (fanfic!) in bed because it was a sunday morning and i had nothing pressing to do and suddenly got dizzy. I put my laptop aside because my eyes were blurring (Eyesight changes - symptom #1), and laid down, thinking it would pass, it didn't, it's a little vague how it progressed because I'd been having headaches and neckpain for about 3 weeks leading up to it so I was like 'idk is this a migraine?' (headaches can be a stroke symptom so symptom #2) but i got nauseous and eventually got up and to my utmost surprise I immediately fell over as if I was the drunkest of frat bros. The room literally spun before my eyes as I fell to the floor (Balance loss - symptom #3). I have had some Nights and I had never been that unsteady before. I crawled my way to the bathroom, threw up (nausea - not a common stroke symptom) , took 800mg of ibuprofen, and crawled back to bed.
if you know anything about ibuprofen you might know it's a mild blood thinner and that's a high dose. I may have inadvertently helped myself with that one. I was just feeling like shit and thinking 'idk this might help'
At this point I still thought we were still in Normal Land. Sure, it was a weird morning, but Surely There Was A Reason. (Yes There Was) Anyway, as I'm lying there willing my body to stop suffering I realize my arm is going numb (stroke symptom #4) and I switch positions, because weird, but it doesn't go away, and I gave it a good little while. I'm on a medication that can make my limbs tingle but it usually just does it to my fingers and it dissipates quickly but this wasn't dissipating, and then I realized one of my legs was also going numb. Then one side of my face is going numb.
(at the time I did not look in the mirror but I had a drooping eyelid - symptom #5)
Those all seem bad. I grab my computer and google 'when to go to the hospital for dizzyness' as that felt like the worst of my problems. and indeed the list I found highlighted that if you are also experiencing loss of balance, blurred vision, nausea, and limb numbness, you should see a doctor. That seems like far too many symptoms to be having all to be listed. I grab my phone (thankfully plugged in and by my bed), and start layering on more clothing because it's about 10 degrees out and i'm in a pajama dress. The very nice man at 911 talks with me and sends an ambulance, I tell him I don't think I can get out the front door of my building on my own and he asks if I can get to MY apartment door to which I say yes and he assures me that's fine they will have keys to my building.
(I have been since informed they love to chop down doors but no, I could get that far)
I wait by my door laying down on the ground and they arrive pretty quickly. They see to me in the hallway, which is more of a lobby in my building and the only place with room for me to lie down (I cannot stand unassisted at this point) they ask me a bunch of questions, take vitals, and ask me where I would like to be taken. Me, having never had to go to the fucking hospital in an emergency before, simply go 'wherever is close' because I again, I am having a stroke and do not have the wherewithal to think through these things.
A big firefighter helps me down the stairs (it's only a half flight and I still almost did not make it) and we get underway.
At the hospital they wheel me into triage and I mostly lie there gratefully and answer some questions and respond to some tests (grip strength, following a pen with my eyes, that sort of thing) and then I hear what is great when you've been at urgent care for two hours but what is Very Bad when you just arrived in an ambulance and that's 'She's next'. I jumped the line for a CT scan and an MRI. I was there less than ten minutes before I was actively being scanned. honestly closer to five.
my active symptoms seem to have been worse than some of the stories I've heard, not being able to walk AT ALL in particular, although some other are pretty equal (Footless Jo on youtube had a stroke around the same time I did of the same type and has discussed hers, she delayed going in despite the severity for a variety of reasons and it sounds like her recovery has been difficult) My recovery was pretty easy because i was actively being cared for and on blood thinners right away. My stroke was caused by an vertebral arterial tear, aka the inner part of an artery tore which can cause a clot. This tends to be the type of stroke young people have although I'm sure it's possible to have a different type.
I was pretty out of it in the beginning, but I was only in the hospital for 6 days and then in a rehab for another 4 to relearn how to walk and balance, then i was released unto the world and just spent time going to physical therapy and recovering for awhile. I was out of work for about 8 weeks total. I basically had the best outcome for a stroke. I recovered almost fully back to 100% (I'm about 2% less sure footed than I used to be, but it's rarely noticeable), my face still feels a little weird but has markedly improved so I live in hope it will eventually get back to normal. It massively sucked. But strokes can fuck you up for life and I came out a weird medical story to tell and have to take some extra medication now/precautions to take (i cannot do certain types of yoga, no weightlifting, no push ups, no going on rollercoasters.... things that could strain my neck essentially) but overall I escaped very lucky.
Guys I made an edit for Meitantei (I haven't done an edit in *checks* almost a year)
Spoilers for the entire Eclair Arc INCLUDING Eclair's identity!
Did I have to use Heat Abnormal? Yes. It's my fav N25 cover ( I think, N25 has a fuck ton of banger covers so it's hard to say but this has bias for being the song that got me into N25 in the first place)
Genuinely would have included Shushutan Saki clips but no space in the ending segment already lol. Also it was supposd to be in candidate order but like ep 23 was so yuriful that like, I had to swap Kurea and Rei's spots.
Anyway, I could go on and on about the peakness of episode 25, but I think that's been said enough times at this point.
Episode 25 was peak. So peak. I think my expectation of cure debuts is going to be forever spoiled because of the peakness of this episode. Holy fuck Eclair holy fuck
Toei you are mean for hiding Kurea's transformation scene from us. SO MEAN
Did not expect Usonoir to be a fairy. I really did have to pause to laugh at the absurdity of something the size of a palm in like a 2+ meter suit.
Oh and Shushutan. that little FREAK . Hiding in Kurea's scrunchie THIS WHOLE TIME. I was really thinking Shiruku was Shushutan but i mean, it would be hard for her to balance fairy life and actress/model life so fair. And because her VA is Karin Isobe... I will be calling Shushutan "Saki" from here on out. you are not stopping me.
I love the cut ins between the eclairlings as Pochitan flies trying to find them, basically eliminating them as Eclair. And like those shots felt so in character for Eriza and Shiruku. The black fakeout of Rei's silhouette to reveal Kurea. and then MORE baiting with Kurea saying how she's not Eclair because the lillies didn't work and then shit happening and then she finally remembers. God that whole sequence was peak.
And welp, looks like Luluka and Kurea are going to keep on yuri-ing because it looks like they have some unresolved shit to go through.
Relationship Charts for my N25 WL2 AU (Images are in character order)
While this AU does follow the concept of WL2, where Kanade's dad is alive, most of the events that happen later in the event (e.g. KanaMafuEna meeting, Ena allegedly dropping out of school, MizuMafu meeting) don't happen. But to explain some of the points in the chart:
At this point in the story, N25 has not entered their SEKAI, they've only been a group for a month or two. Their SEKAI will be different in this AU since it won't be Mafuyu creating it on her own.
While Kanade's purpose in forming N25 was to save others while she made a song to save Mafuyu, she tends to treat 'saving Mafuyu' as 'making Mafuyu smile', which is an effect of her composing happier music in this AU
I'm still considering whether to make Mafumom supportive or not in this AU. Regardless, part of Mafuyu's inability to feel things is due to her burning herself out very badly.
There is no sort of 'you all want to disappear more than anyone else' speech because 1) Kanade is happy 2) Mizuki always has a barrier up that prevents Mafuyu from properly reading her.
Mafuyu and Ena, on the other hand, know that they both have wanted to disappear at some point in time. Was it a bit blunt on Mafuyu's end? Yes. Which is why she hasn't just straight up asked Mizuki either.
Though that isn't stopping Mafuyu from being persistent about getting to know Mizuki more, despite the latter's attempts to avoid it.
Ena's self worth is much worse than canon. So much worse. Now it's even more linked to likes and recognition. This is due to her first fanart for Kanade and Mafuyu's song blowing up.
So sometimes, she wonders if she's even worthy of her position as N25's illustrator, especially when her normal art doesn't do well.
It's quite common for her to fluctuate between periods of high self-worth and abyssmal self-worth depending on how her art does. It's the low periods that Mafuyu refers to as 'relapses' since that's when Ena tends to feel like disappearing.
Mizuki genuinely wants to get closer to N25, but just can't find the strength to put down the barriers she built up due to all the bullying. As a result, she gets very flighty and dodgy during in-person meet ups
Also, a lot of her bullying came from the popular kids in middle school, with some of them even posting mocking photos of her online. This has made her really scared of Ena after finding out about her selfie account.
Also it's going to be endgame PolyNiigo/Polycord (with KanaMafu being basically in a situationship at their current point. Except neither of them can see the big glowing sign.) + more focus on KanaMizu and MafuEna in terms of plotlines
Can episode 25 come sooner? I want to see the confrontation, I want to see Eclair debut, I want to see the Luluka angst, I want to see Luluka defect from the guild, I want to see Luluka and Eclair moments, I want to see how the prophecy plays out.
Definitely a much calmer episode compared to the yuri fest that was ep 23, makes me feel a bit bad for Rei having her episode come after Kurea's.
But I do like how Rei has this ongoing plotline with Pochitan and protecting her. Even though Pochitan is Anna and Mikuru's fairy, Rei was the first one to run after her, despite only really knowing her since ep 14. It's kind of this plotline that pushes Rei away from being Eclair (if, again, Kurea's episode wasn't enough), since her link with the precures would be through Pochitan and not as a member of the team.
Also it does suck that Rei is on Star Detective because really, if it had been any other season, she probably would've turned into a cure this episode. But she's on the season with the amnesiac MIA alumni cure so unfortunately. Maybe the writers will pull a Wonderful with Satoru and Daifuku and have her be a movie cure (though it feels unlikely).
I like how all four thieves were involved this week, because the preview made it seem like only Nijee. And ofc they'd be the ones who caused the shenanigans in the school. And honestly, I was expecting them to be disguised as the drama club (forgetting the fact that Goemon is absolute trash at disguising himself).
Can we talk about how Luluka is eating a popsicle instead of an ice cream? She revealed herself to Kurea so now she can't go to her favourite bakery to get her favourite snack. That or she's very stressed because of Eclair's Makoto Jewel being in Usonoir's possession.
Speaking of him... hoo boy is shit about to go down next week, Usonoir is going to be using Eclair's Makoto Jewel for his plan and I can assure you it's going to end in disaster. Those last few shots of the preview with the blue lighting, you can see the scratches on Luluka, clearly a massive brawl took place before Eclair steps in. And we don't even get her in the preview, which is insane. They really are hiding her as much as possible to make that reveal hit HARD.
All four of the Eclairlings are on the move and I wonder how they will all play a part in the episode's plot, especially for Eriza/Shiruku/Rei. Also where the hell is Shushutan? I thought maybe Shushutan would be revealed in this episode as a teaser but still nothing.
I lastly have to mention that happy Luluka shot. It's either a past moment between her and Eclair, or its her smiling at Eclair's return (wtv it is, I think the yuri is no longer doomed). Based on the preview she's also likely defecting from the thieves next week, which means full team debut next week too? or the week after, depending on which part of the episode is Eclair's debut.
Doesn’t it look… alright? I need to start doing line art again, not just colouring my sketches. But it works for these quick illustrations. What do you mean this took 3 hours?! I particularly like that I coloured the line art pink and shaded it.
This piece was inspired by yesterday’s episode. I can’t be the only one that noticed the doomed yuri vibes! I hope I conveyed them well. With Luluka looking at Kurea, but Kurea looking at the ice cream. Shout out to Mashutan filling out the empty space in the corner.
