Hello Danganronpa fans!

Welcome to the official blog that’ll hold a ship week for the ship Shuichi x Gonta. I know, quite the rare pair, buts it’s a pair that I (Mod J) love with my whole heart, and I want to spread that love to everyone else!

If you’re not familiar with ship weeks, what happens is for one week (seven days) there will be two prompts for each day that you can choose from (or you can choose both prompts if you’d like!) and you would make content that relates to the prompt.

What kind of content? Any kind! Fanfictions, drawings, picture and videos edits, etc. As long as it’s your own creation and not stolen from someone else, you can submit it here or @ this acc and hashtag it #saigokuweek / #saigokuweek2021

When does the week start?

I‘m looking to start sometime in October, official dates will b out soon!

SUP HOMIES, ITS FIC REC TIME!!!

I’ve been super busy between doing art requests for pinterest and trying to write more for tumblr but i wanted to post somethin so here it is. I’m lowkey just piggybacking off of a post by @yo-kiyooo so thanks to u for giving me this idea. These are mostly rarepair fics, the rarer the better, plus some comfort reads of mine as well. So um, here they are!

Starting with Danganronpa:

Im gonna start with my favorite fic of all time ever good old-fashioned loverboy by tfc! honestly a comfort read of mine! Its a Gonta x Shuichi Fake Dating College AU! The first time i read it i literally finished it in 2 hours of nonstop reading and then re-read the whole thing. I actually downloaded it as a pdf so i can read without wifi. Its a really good read, but honestly any of the fics by tfc are godsends

Ok next up is a pretty long one: A New Hope by HeldOnandLetGo! Its a danganronpa re-write with all the games featured. It is one of the most well written fics I’ve ever read. There are also tons of rarepairs, especially crossgame ones :3

Ok on to Haikyuu:

Starting again with my personal favorite The Devils Downstairs by OhNoItsOikawa! Its a BokuAkaKuroTsuki College AU fic that really tugs on the heartstrings. It also deals with a lowkey toxic Iwaoi relationship and honestly just read it its really good.

After that isn’t necessarily a rarepair but its less popular- ATSU101: how to fall in love with your fake boyfriend by solyn! Its a SakuAtsu fake dating thing. Its a little on the horny side but an enjoyable read overall. It takes place post timeskip, so be aware of that. Ok so I’m just gonna add to this post as time goes on, its been in my drafts for like a month. I’ll just add as i accumulate more fics, but for now, this is what ive got. Drink water

Saigoku drabble because yes

- Gonta is the first to fall in love, but he doesn’t realize it’s love and not just an admiration until he talks it out with someone else and they’re like “Dude, you’re totally in love with him.”

- So now Gonta doesn’t know what to do cuz he never really had a love interest before, let alone confess such love to someone so fnnvnvnvnbv.

- He does some research and finds out about the different meanings behind different rose colors. Seeing that a red rose means love and respect, Gonta decides to find one and gift it to Shuichi.

- After searching through the garden, he finds a big and healthy rose, and clips it. Gonta then sits on a bench near by the flower beds and starts practicing his confession.

- He shifts focus from his surroundings to himself, speaking his ‘I love yous’ out loud; in softer tones, more confident tones, cheerful tones... completely unaware that Shuichi was near him also looking for a flower.

- It wasn’t until he looked around that Gonta noticed a dark figure at the corner of his eye, and looked to his left to see Shuichi, his crush, watching him in shock and holding what seemed to be a cluster of pink roses.

- Gonta just, froze into the bench, screaming internally like ohgoodgriefijustconfessedtohimwhatdoido-

- “How much.. did Shuichi hear?” Gonta asked, getting up from the bench to finally watch towards him.

- “...A lot” Shuichi replied

- they were both blushing like dorks and just, completely unsure of what to do next.

- “Well uhm, Gonta got you this.. because it means love and respect, and... Gonta loves you.”

- Shuichi, trying not to cry from how sweet he is, takes the rose with a smile. “Thank you, uhm.. I actually have something to say as well.”

- “Oh?” Gonta’s mind is spinning, trying to think what could he possibly say next. 

- “I originally picked this rose for you to show my appreciation to you as a friend, but... I love you to.” Shuichi handed him his rose.

- If he wasn’t a 6′6 giant and outside, Gonta wouldve probably been jumping up and down from sheer happiness from how well this all went. Instead, he smiled big and brightly, and started shedding a few tears.

- They both just hugged each other tightly, laughing a bit at “wow, this really just happened!”

- “Would Shuichi.. like to take a walk?” “I’d love to, sweetheart.”

- They held hands and slowly strolled through the garden, feeling all sorts of positive feelings. Gonta didn’t think it would’ve turned out this way, but he wouldn’t ask for this any other way.
