this is shujing, my genshin oc. she's half human and half adeptus. she's also tonghe's other form. they can be interchangeably used to refer to one person.

their father is an adeptus that has the form of a crane. he died shortly after the archon war due to karmic debt and it was passed down to his only offspring, cursing the child of eventual blindness by the time they turn 200 years old.

shujing (and tonghe) use hydro charms/seals to see better, since their vision is impaired and can only work on water or things that are wet (think elemental sight mechanic in game).

shujing's friends with dr. baizhu, whom she got to learn medicine with as students and qiqi, whom she felt compelled to take care of when baizhu's busy. dr. baizhu is also her first friend since she was cooped up in her home for most of her childhood when the curse was taking root.
