Midterm prep at Shujin Academy was on an entirely new brand of ruthless compared to the school from his hometown, and Makoto as the school's student council president was not one to pull punches when it came to studies. Between group study sessions or insisting on partnering up one-on-one, what little free time Ren typically had after school was now completely dedicated to studying, studying, studying. As someone who had steadily climbed the academic ranks of his class out of pure spite, Ren's brain was feeling completely fried, to say the least. Less and less words were being processed...

The next morning after another late night group session at Leblanc had Ren feeling the kind of exhausted that no amount of Boss's freshly brewed coffee could really help, which meant there really was no saving him. If Ren was lucky, Kawakami-sensei would do him a solid and let him pass out in class for a good hour or so later. It was an odd coincidence that Makoto just so happened to be the one he bumped into on the way to school -- the one mostly responsible for all this recent cracking down -- but Ren was quick to notice the weary look in her eye. Of course. Makoto was only human, too. She was pushing herself, just as the rest of them were, and she looked worn down. Ren knew his hair looked considerably scruffier than usual, so at least they both looked about on that same level of not wanting to be awake (or possibly alive).

"You look like you could use a coffee or ten," Ren greeted with a small, tired smile. "Good morning, Makoto."

“Makoto! I require your help.”

Despite not being a student of Shujin, even wearing the uniform of another high school, there he stood before Makoto in the middle of the school hallway. Whispers began, but none too pertinent to why he was there.

“I haven’t been able to get into contact with Akira today, it seems his phone is off. Every year thus far I had spent my birthday with Sens--”

Words cut off, he brushes his bangs behind his ear, and continues. “...Madarame. I was hoping to have a celebration today with the group. But I’m unsure of what to do.”

“I know you have good organizational skills and a fairly keen eye for certain aesthetics, so I was hoping you would give me a hand. For starters, where do people hold these parties? Should it be somewhere public?”

☠ What does someone have to do for an instant unfollow from you?

To stay away from the obvious: collecting/counting a specific muse, like, publicly. Someone in a community I used to be on numbered the duplicates that followed them and talked about collecting. Every person plays their muse differently, so lumping all of one into a collection is just unendingly irritating to me.

☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

When people refuse to use a character’s name multiple times- or comes up with a different way to refer to a character every time they’re mentioned. It’s hard to follow and convoluted and I’ve always found using one to three references just flows better.

❦ Has someone been jealous of you?

HAHAHA yes. Very much yes.

❣ How salty are you feeling right now?

Only minimally tbh, so far Persona has been lovely and much lower drama than previous communities I’ve stepped away from.

Nightmare meme/still accepting. Ron was staring down Chaos, who was holding the one weapon that was most dangerous for the mad magician to wield. He had pulled out Ea, and was aiming at everyone. Then Chaos fired the weapon, ,and there was nothing Ron could do. He killed them. “Its all your fault. You’re the reason they are dead now,” Chaos laughed and raised Ea again. He killed everyone. Ren, Ann, Futuba, Ryjui, Morgana, Yusuke, Makoto, Haru. He killed them all just to make Ron hurt. Ron jolted awake, and placed a hand on his head. It was a nightmare. It didn’t happen.

To Makoto, he gives her a card with delicate brush strokes, creating a variety of flowers in a menagerie of pinks and reds. In writing, he’d written:

“A true thief after my own heart. Diligent student and level headed friend, I support you as you support me in our days, thieves or not. I hope you have a truly magnificent Valentine’s Day, Makoto Nijima.”
