WASHINGTON (AP) — Congressional Democrats are taking a page from the playbook of President Donald Trump and hard-line conservatives: Fight for your base and don't blink.

I 100% support the Democrats in not yielding to Trump and the GOP’s demagoguery. One thing is absolutely clear, the Republicans own this govt. shutdown. The Repugs own Trump and while they’ve clearly shown that they will kowtow to monster tRump, the Democrats just demonstrated that they will not! Proud to be a Democrat!
