cider - a food that you disliked as a child but now enjoy?

hmmm.... I dont exactly remember.. I’ve always been a picky eater so it’s not exactly “food I disliked before”, but more like “food I never ate as a child because I thought it was spicy or taste bitter”

.....it’s kinda embarassing but it’s probably Arem - arem (traditional javanese compressed rice cake wrapped in banana leaf and filled with veggies or chicken) IN MY DEFENSE The veggies sometimes includes green jalapeno so eating one as a kid feels like a gaunlet of “tasty snack” and “OH GOD IT BURNS”.. 3 out of 5 times its the latter one so yea BUT now I can pull up my big boi pants and go ask the vendor if its spicy or not w/o anxiety SO ITS GOOD NOW

and indomie’s “spicy” sauce because its not spicy its sweet but my tiny past me hates spicy food so much ok ok?? it doesnt sound like much but indomie’s spicy sauce is really not spicy at all and im embarassed of past me child why
