I'm gonna gnaw a leg off Grace in the movie is far from an everyman but he feels like a totally different kind of everyman somehow, like an autism everyman, and my brain has decided Grace is just the player human character in a dozen fic ideas about the shenanigans a human living on Erid would get up to but with The Human being various different kinds of human. Cmon brain I don't want to write a dozen one shots that require making up the POV character when the human is right there and a full ass character. I don't even LIKE the everyman trope.

Also yes #Survival sci fi horror and cosmic hope story where Earth and Erid have diplomatic habitats well set up for each other but #Shenanigans ensue and you play as someone in one of the habitats trying to fix systems from the inside #Maybe there's a saboteur or maybe there's some other life form thats just hunting like a normal animal but it takes a human and an #Eridian working together to handle #No stop brain omg #A human stuck in an Eridian outpost and they have to subnautica their way through surviving with Eridian facilities
