I’m still uncertain of a full comeback due to injury and depression, but for today, here is the cover of the Rise of Ultraman comic by Marvel. Art done by the great Alex Ross, who is no stranger to drawing the Giant of Light. The comic’s first issue lands this September.

Crunchyroll is Dropping Various Ultraman Series - The Tokusatsu Network

Starting in mid October, Crunchyroll will be dropping several of its Ultraman offerings from its streaming service. Crunchyroll is a site that specializes in Japanese media, and has offered several titles from the Ultraman franchise. However, due to licensing reasons, several of these titles will be dropped on October 14th 2018. Among them are Ultraman Leo, Ultraman 80, Ultraman Max and Ultraman Mebius. Although Ultraman …

The explanation for this is Crunchyroll has let the contract to exclusively distribute specific shows expire. 

Best guess is the shows will be moving to the Toku cable channel, Funimation or to Shout! Factory TV, as it would be counterproductive of Tsuburaya just to terminate the shows from distribution in the Region 1 areas altogether given the ad revenue gains them a profit by fans watching them. Especially since they can legally do so now with the defeat of Chaiyo’s bogus claim of copyright in US court earlier this year.

X, Orb and Geed will be unharmed for now and will continue to be viewable and Leo has moved to Shout! Factory TV.

Best hope is that if the shows are bound for Shout!, they can do the home video sets of these series with little effort as Crunchyroll and Tsuburaya Pro have already translated them.

Ant-Man and the Wasp's director revealed the tokusatsu suits that they referenced for the film's hero suits.

Kinda should have guessed given they both have red and silver in the suits. Scott also used pressure triggers in a manner somewhat similar to the Beta Capsule to change size.
