obviously the main dynamic between my SI and laventon is the entire village being like “oh my god there’s two of them” (science weirdos) but a crucial secondary dynamic is my SI showing up at base camp in the evening after a day of fieldwork absolutely covered in mud looking like a swamp beast (grinning like a madman bc they made friends with and finally caught a toxicroak) and laventon just sighing dreamily like oh my god I’m so in love
