An interview with Peter Wolfe - November 2016
Q: Hey, you’ve recently released a song called “Step Back From The Brink”, are you currently working on anything else?
A: Yes, new songs that I’ll be recording when I return to the UK in December.
Q: What artists have you always wanted to collaborate with?
A: Only with those that I have. In the future who knows…
Q: What are your biggest poetic influences?
A: Emotions, imagination, and to have control.
Q: What do you think are your best lyrics?
A: Alien Gods (on cyanide).
Q: Are there any art forms you’d like to try?
A: I have little patience for trying new stuff, I see most of my days as such that I can draw from and so direct toward my songs/lyrics etc.
Q: What inspires you when you don’t have any ideas?
A: The Din, noise, rumble of the city.
Q: What song or poem are you most proud of?
A: Could be “Napoleon”. It was the worst madness at the time. But has proved to be my worthiest and loyal pal!
Q: Does your personal life play an important part in creating art?
A: Yes, for my part anyway.
Q: What kind of music have you been listening to lately?
A: Blues /Motown. 50’s. Crooners.
Q: I’ve heard you’ve spent some time in the USA this year, do you prefer it to England?
A: No, certainly not! England is my home and the US a great friend.
