You roll your eyes “You should be thankful l I didn’t take Seresin up on his offer to take me out,” you responded taking a sip of your drink. “Besides, you’re the best pilot in the Navy. I trust you to keep my Bobby safe,” Natasha made a face at your statement “That was a backhanded compliment and you know it,” she quips. You scoff “No it was not! Right Bobby?”

Bob had been sitting with you two the whole time, eyes darting back and forth between his best friend and his girlfriend who happened to be sisters. He had seen siblings fight before, but never like you two. “Uh…” he didn’t know what to say or who to side with. His front-seater could easily end his life while you could take away his pussy privileges. He opted for taking a gulp of his drink.

“God men are useless,” you mumble “Amen, sister,” Natasha agrees and you clink your drinks together. “That’s not what you were saying last night,” Bob said just loud enough for you to hear causing you to choke. “Ew,” “Bobby!” You and your sister exclaim at the same time. Your beau shot you a wink.

I’m just picturing Jake sneaking you into the barracks or sneaking Jake into your apartment(shared with you sister of course) and either one of two things happen.

1: one of the dagger team finds you two going at it and runs to tell Phoenix

2: Phoenix catching the two of you mid act and chasing around a naked Jake

For the first one, you two would be making out in the hallway outside of Jake’s room. Both of you too impatient to make it to his bed. Bob would round the corner and spot the both of you. You, pressed up against the wall with Jake’s face buried in your neck, would spot him first. You push Jake off of you and turn his head toward the shy WSO. His eyes dart between the two of you. “Hey, Bob,” you say chest heaving. Bob doesn’t say anything before turning on his heel and bolting back to where he came from. “Goddamnit Floyd, come back here!” You sprint after him, Jake following suit. You found him talking to your sister and pointing vaguely in your direction.

Natasha would come home late one night, calling out to let you know she was home. No response. She shrugged and went to take off her boots, stopping when she notices and extra pair of Navy issued combat boots by the door. They were far too large to be yours. That’s when she heard it “Oh, fuck, Jake!” The loud cry came from your room. She didn’t even bother knocking, barging into your room. “Nat, what the fuck!” You say, scrambling to cover yourself and the man in your bed. Her eyes bounced back and forth between you and Jake, who was still fully naked. “You have 30 seconds before I rock your shit, Seresin,” she states bluntly. Jake, of course, didn’t move and it ended with your sister chasing a still nude pilot out of your shared home.

Jake would later report to you what your sister had said to him, earning a sigh from you. You weren't surprised in any capacity. Natasha as well as the rest of her aviator friends, thought Jake was a womanizing tool. They just couldn't see past his tough exterior. You also weren't surprised to see Natasha walk into the bar you and Jake were at. What did shock you was to see Bob, Bradley, Mickey AND Reuben file in behind her. They sat a few booths down and over, giving you an excellent view of all of them while Jake was still none the wiser. You shot a glare at your sister and her friends, before turning back to Jake.

"Your sister's here, isn't she?" Jake asks, amused. "And it seems she brought the whole goddamn navy with her," you respond, irritation prevalent in your tone. Jake turns, making it obvious that he's looking for them. He smirks when he spots them and turns back to you, shrugging "Nice to know she cares about you," he offers, taking a sip of his whiskey. You huff out a laugh "Sure, but bringing them is overkill," you state flatly, shooting daggers over at your sister again. She just smiles at you, her eyes darting to Jake then back to you. A silent way of asking how things were going. You stare blankly before raising your eyebrows, then make a point to look at the four men she brought with her. Your way of saying 'Fine until you all showed up'. Satisfied with your answer, she goes back tot conversing with her friends.

"Is she glaring at me?" Jake drawls, meeting your gaze. You giggle and shake your head. "Nah, not anymore," you flash him a smile and finish the rest of your drink. "You wanna piss her off even more?" You ask, mischief prevalent behind your eyes. Jake cocks an eyebrow "What'd you have in mind, honey?" You lean across the table, whispering something that only he could hear. Jake groans and his eyes roll back into his head. "You've got a death wish, baby. Let's get outta here," you don't have time to answer as he takes your hand, dragging you out of the bar. He throws a quick wink in your sisters direction, while you blow her a kiss. Her jaw clenches, she's gonna kill Jake the next time she sees him.

Jake was pacing back and forth at the Hard Deck. You’re out of town for the weekend and he knew this was his only chance in the near future to talk to Natasha about his proposal. He never got nervous about anything, yet here he was freaking out.

He saw Natasha walk in through the door and make a beeline for him. “Alright, Hangman. What do you want?” She said bluntly. “Why don’t we sit down, Nat. I wanna talk to you about something important,” His voice waivers slightly as he speaks. Natasha looks at him quizzically before agreeing. Jake takes a steady breath before speaking again “Natasha I want to marry your sister. She’s the love of my life and I’ve never felt this way about another person. I can’t imagine not waking up next to her everyday. I don’t know what I would be with out her,” He pauses for a moment.

“I know you don’t care for me, Nat,” He starts again but She cuts him off “That’s not true, Jake. I give you a hard time because she’s my sister. I can see you really care about her,” She smiles at him, which eases his nerves “So, you’re giving me the okay?” Jake questions. The woman across from him huffs out a laugh “Yes, Seresin. You can ask my sister to Marry you,” Jake beamed at the woman across from him and began going into great detail about how he planned on proposing.
