JUNE 29TH: SURVIVING MERMEN
Due to time constraints and previous commitments I was not allowed on the laptop in time for me to post this event in a manageable time period, and I'm so sorry. To those who's characters were selected for this event: you don't have to do the task for it, since I posted it late. It would be appreciated, but you don't have to.
Surviving Mermen. Those chosen for this event will be locked to chains (arms and legs) surrounded by furious mermen and women, with enchantments that will only allow them twenty minutes to escape from their shackles- without magic.
The task for the 'Surviving Mermen' event-- for those selected to participate-- is to write about your characters escape. They would have been chosen from the RoR and knocked unconscious, then awakened underwater once it was time the event begins. They didn't know how long they had before they wouldn't be able to breathe underwater anymore-- but they're shackled and being harassed by angry mermen, so escape is the most obvious need. Please tag your task with #sichergames if you are to complete this one (it is not mandatory.)
People can now interact with the captured, but are expected to talk down to them or treat them like toys. (Even the muggles are expected to be rude.)

TODAY, JUNE 30TH: MUGGLE GLADIATORS
Muggle Gladiators. This event will be where the captured and chosen for this event will have to fight one on one muggle style, to the death- weapons like swords and crowbars and the like will be provided. The participants only have one hour to defeat the other, or they’ll be executed by the Minister himself.
The task for the 'Muggle Gladiators' event-- for those selected to participate-- is to write about your characters technique on how they kill their opponent (which is an npc.) Focus on what they picked up and how they worked, focus on their emotions. Did they block everything out, or did they move forward? They are in a gladiator-like arena for this event, with no way out unless they kill their opponent, which is obvious to them. Did they make the first hit or take the first hit?
