"PARTISANS, GRAB YOUR WANDS! EXTREMISTS-- THIS IS NILES IKONEN, SAYING GOOD DAY AND GOOD RIDDANCE TO YOU BLOODY ADVOCATES OF DISASTER."
During the awards ceremony where the captured- and survived- were being branded, Niles Ikonen-- missing from the arena-- was heard all over Hogwarts and Hogsmeade grounds. Captured Partisans who retrieved their wands the night before from helpers, escaped Partisans, and those blending in with the crowds broke out their wands.
A battle began, marking the era of The Rise, as Partisans were calling it.
While some were lost on the Partisans side, the Extremists suffered a great amount.
Now, thanks to much planning, Partisans and those they were able to retrieve are on an Unplottable island called Ismat. The Unplottability of Ismat makes it impossible for anyone to apparate directly on the island or even find it unless they know it exists-- so for now, it is a safe haven for Partisans and those they were able to bring to the island, which was a great amount of people. (Therefore, a victory in itself.)
The Extremists on the other hand are cleaning up the battle at Hogwarts. Dead Partisans are being used as examples of 'anarchist scum' and muggle sympathizers for a majority of the European Wizarding World to see, and their bodies hang from poles in front of the Ministry, preserved in their bloodied states as an example. The Ministry is doing their best to work and continue recuiting for the Polizei, as well as figure out where the hell the Partisans have gone to. Wizarding forces in Britain, Germany, and Italy are working hard to find out.
GUIDELINES
This is where everyone gets to decide their characters current fate. Are they on Ismat with the Partisans? Are they with the Ministry, searching for the Partisans? Or were they lost in the battle, roughing it, hiding somewhere? Here are a few guidelines. Please like this post once you have seen it.
Before you tag #sicherstarter on starters, please tag where your character is. Partisans and those saved by Partisans can interact, but they cannot speak to Ministry people-- and vice versa. So location is very relevant now.
Partisan plots. We have many brewing! But if you have ideas, please, get in touch with people then get in touch with the main. It's what I'll be doing soon and there will be a plotting task set up soon.
And vice versa for Ministry plots.
Ismat Island being Unplottable means it remains Unplottable. As in, it will be a while until the Ministry finds out, unless someone blabs-- which would need permission from the main, so ask first. No one can send owls to people on Ismat because it is Unplottable, by the way-- an owl wouldn't be able to reach it at all.
Hogwarts is no longer a setting for us to rp in full time. It has been abandoned by all-- not even the Minister cares to use it.
Yes, muggles can be on Ismat. They would've had to hold onto someone apparating them to the boats that go to Ismat very tightly, though! BUT SOME MUGGLE SLAVES MAY STILL BE SLAVES. Decide where your character stands, especially depending on the kind of person who was in charge of them.
ISMAT ISLAND
Ismat Island is a small, hidden, Scottish island that has a small village of large homes attached. Originally belonging to rich wizards-- Leia and Keaira Free-- with a seventies-anarchist past, they offered it to Niles after signing onto the Partisans as a safe place. Since Niles was kicked out, he has been contacting them whenever they were not on the island, and they cleaned it up for liveable conditions.
To reach the island, one has to apparate to another protected (but not Unplottable) island, though it's much smaller and only meant as a halfway point. From there, they get on one of the boats, which are charmed to lock people in the boat once they reach Ismat until a Partisan approves their presence. (This is because Unplottability makes it impossible for people to apparate onto Ismat directly.)
There is a large mansion meant for the Partisans and Partisans business, as it was given to Niles, but Partisans and their loved ones are welcome. If room fills up or people want places on their own for now, there are many smaller homes and huts for people to stay in, as well as another mansion owned by Marcus Weatherby-- which has been opened for anyone to stay in, especially the younger students who are without their parents. A few people already live on the island but they're family to Leia and Keaira, and they run the little shoppes around the place.
The shoppes are not running as shoppes anymore but simply exist to give a sense of normality to all. There is a bookstore and a grocery (which holds some clothing and toy sections as well.) The other shoppes are irrelevant now.
Food runs will be necessary eventually, but at the moment, not. There has been much time to prepare, a lot of livestock, and a lot of food. The island forest provides berries if ever there are days where rations are short.
AND SO YOU MAY BEGIN.
There's a lot of aftermath and surely a lot of recovery for some characters, as well as newly ignited flames of passion for the war to come. Welcome to Sicher ist Sicher: RISE. The war begins now.
