( — 현진 ⚘ ) | ᴡɪᴛʜɪɴ ᴀ ᴍᴀᴛᴛᴇʀ ᴏꜰ seconds her carefree day comes to an abrupt end. The grown - and extremely tall - man that takes a seat directly in front of her making sure of just that. She didn’t want to cause a scene and conflict with an adult over seating on her free day would surely earn a few days worth of probation. Thus, she makes do with what she can, sitting to her fullest height and leaning one way or another so she can catch sight of the theater's screen. The man’s movements, however, becomes sporadic and when she thought she would win by craning her neck one way, he’d find a way to block her line of vision. It was becoming near unbearable so she searches for any empty seat further up, finding two that were ideal. With drink in hand she begins to move until she notices another male had already occupied one of the seats and to her dismay the one that remained was directly beside him. Eyes briefly close as she contemplates on going back to her original seat though coming to the conclusion that it’d be a waste of her time and money. The worst he can say is “no” and if that’s the case I’ll come back to a later showing. A curt nod to herself for reassurance and she makes her way up to the male, body nearly trembling as she spoke. ❝ Excuse me, is this seat taken? ❞ She gestures to the vacant seat, gaze avoiding his while she awaited a response. Oh, reason! Give him the reason you’re asking! ❝ I’m sorry about this but the guy down there is really tall and I couldn’t see so I... thought I’d try to move up here... ❞

That I shall be the one supporting the family from this point on and they can finally take a rest from all the hard work they have done.“ She was still rather far from her end goal but she was slowly getting there and that is what matters most. “How about you? I think that is rather ambitious already of you to leave the home you know to come to a foreign country and train in hopes of debuting, something most people your age would have found difficult doing but you took that bold step forward and it is very admirable.”

Cold air snips at the surface of his eyelids, lashes barely catching the tears that threaten to seep from within. He’s a silent crier, the type of crier that only lets loose within the confines of blankets or bathrooms. Habitually, he can’t help but force himself to hold it back as to avoid smudging the eyeliner he’s wearing. But, he’s not made up at this time of day. It’s late, quiet, and lonely. He can cry here freely.

“I know,” Sehun hangs his head over the railing of the bridge, “I guess I just hate the idea of being the deadweight. I can’t...I can’t do that. Or, at least it feels that way,” He confesses.
