Uhm so I get sick a lot and I'm getting tested for endometriosis + I age regress so I thought I'd put my 2 cents into stuff to do when small and everything is going wrong inside you
Okay so first things first food + hydration:
1) try to drink loads of water (I know loads of peo0le say this but it really helps tbf 😺) if you don't like water or you're sick abd it hurts to swallow things cold but want cold drinks (I have a thing with textures so I don't like warm water) try to get juice like fruit juice or ribena (this is especially good it have vitamin c and it helps your immune system !!) Or energy drinks like lucozade or powerade (I'm British we don't have American stuff) but nothing carbonated !!
2) try to eat something. Try crackers, toast, soup and noodles as this helps with mucus and can be filling (be careful with hot foods though get someone trusted to help if you're small !!) I'm Indian so I eat a lot of foods with turmeric in which helps too
3) try to have gummy vitamins > they're easy to swallow and taste pretty good + they help your body
4) if you have meds, always follow the instructions and try to take them with foods
Next up hygiene :
1) if you are unable to shower due to low energy, feeling dizzy etc. don't risk the shower. This will probably make things worse
2) if you feel icky and can't shower, use deodorant, tie your hair up, dry shampoo, do your skincare, sponge bathe. Some of this stuff helps
3) try to have baths if you feel safe enough to do so. Get some cheap bath toys, some fun stickers for the tiles, some cute shampoo. If need be ask a trusted person or cg to help
Activities :
1) read a book
2) listen to a book
3) watch a comfort show
4) try to avoid overstimulating shows
5) sleep. This is where your immune system makes new cells responsible for fighting off sickness and where your body can rest and regain energy and sleeping is kinda fun too especially with a stuffie or a cg or a blankie (make sure you set alarms for med doses too so you don't miss them. Keep water/fluids nearby and meds to make things easier)
6) if you're a teen like me, try and study something you find simple on a device as this can help you feel like you've done something useful today or been productive and this can help you feel better mentally
7) doodle or use online colouring games
8) use retro toys like water games and tomogatchi's if you have them. They're not really overstimulating and small so you can keep them nearby
9) play games
10) research an interest
Mental health
1) repeat affirmations > try to remember that sickness is out of your control, and all you can do is try to help your body fight it off
2) journal (this is great if you have lots of thoughts and need them out)
3) call or text a friend to talk to someone (this does help, sometimes you feel less alone)
4) try to keep yourself regulated > don't repress stims, cry if you need to, do breathing exercises
5) dress in comfy clothes > this sometimes helps you sleep and it just helps you feel better in general

For anyone with sickies that will last a bit longer, you are so strong and im always thinking of you. I know there are people fighting long-term sickies and im here for you genuinely. i hope you all feel better soon.
For the babies taking care of themselves when they wish they had someone to help them feel better, you got this! Its hard to be small, sick, AND doing it by yourself. Youre doing so well and i hope youre feeling soo much better soon.
Remember:
No blankies with a high fever!
Ginger helps with nausea
Cinnamon, cloves, and honey helps sore throats!
grab ur stuffie! they will always be there to go through bad sickies with you
rest as much as possible
drink water, and take ur meds!
