#i feel like i usually manage my emotions fairly well. despite being insane #like i experience mental illness constantly but theres almost a dissonance. a higher me periciving the ill me who helps #that sounds insane. its just like. if my brains freaking out abt OCD rituals theres still a prt of me thats stable #thats like ‘okay buddy we can do this! we have the tools!’. i often feel like a parent taking care of a child #and thats every day. but when im super sick like this the parent disappears 😭 im no longer an observer. im the person experiencing.#so im upset and emotional and my rational self which usually helps w emotions is NOWHERE to be found #its not necessary a bad thing tho!!! i think its healthy to feel things straight up now and then. sometimes i have to be The Experiencer #i hope wherever The Observer is they r getting a fucken break #personal #sick tag

some of them are actual intolerances/allergies. some of them are texture and/or taste issues. some of them are both. some of them i *will* eat if i have to but i would prefer not to. some of them are absolutely not under any circumstances foods. food in general is just not a great time for me lol
