Their portrait rows are how they feel about people, their columns are how people feel about them. So Archie's opinion on Sid is 🤬 while Sid's of Archie is 😈
The stupid eggplant just means they've had sex at some point. Big red question means they don't know each other, and angled red question means they've met but don't remember it.
Whatever he's wearing will be impeccably clean and neat, unless he wants it to look just disheveled enough, and then that takes time to achieve. Colourful. Typically lighter fabric and materials. Lot of accessories.
A few pairings of my muses that can work for polyships, in case that's something folks would want.
Orion & Aubrey. Your classic surfer werewolf and crustpunk vampire duo. But not for the faint of heart. Lot of rambunctious energy when the two are around each other, they bring out a chaos in each other. Both so used to being the more 'mature' or steady person in their relationship history, and are so relaxed and familiar with each other, that they let loose. YM will get bitten. Good for: Outdoorsy, outspoken, monster fuckers.
Sid and Archie. Mostly in a previous part of their timelines, but can also be an AU. YM as Sid's latest plaything. Potential for jealously and cruelty from Archie, or for him to be the person actually taking care of YM while Sid uses them and treats them like a thing. It's gonna be messy. It's gonna be toxic. It could be violent if wanted. Good for: Realistically, it's not GOOD for anyone. But fun for those easily manipulated by pretty things, who like to be spoiled, or who have a talent Sid would exploit.
Kaz and Rafa. Is your muse looking to start a criminal polycule? Do they want to trade off a rotating single braincell of when each person is being the mature one, or the ridiculous assholes? Can they tolerate A LOT of physical affection and weird animal boy vibes? Are they okay with all their clothes having fur on them? All in exchange for a lot of money, cool stuff, and endless support in their wrongdoings. Good for: Found family with fellow young criminals, or someone older seeking to protect younger start-ups, or even to manipulate or use that inexperience.
Sid's 'type' being very pretty, more delicate and small or gym bunny zero fat show muscle types, but still pretty, never once caused any insecurity issues with the guy who thought they were in a long term open relationship thing on equal footing. Cause he definitely wasn't young, or delicate, or pretty, or anything else Sid seemed to prize.
Archie - NO. Absolutely not. Annoyingly, and he'd hate this, he is genuinely one of the more capable muses when it comes to providing some level of emotional support and care, that would make for a decent parental figure. However, it's best left to bonding with wayward idiots who need a feral guardian werewolf to look out for them.
Kaz - Is young enough he's never thought about it. Realistically, yes, probably. If he was ever in a stable long term relationship, or when he got older, he'd probably realize he did. Loves his parents, loves the idea of getting to be that same support and safety for someone else.
Fetch - Nope. Made the conscious decision when he was a lot younger, before he died, that kids weren't for him. The pack needed people who didn't want cubs because it gave those cubs a better safety net, and more adults who were less exhausted to watch out for them. So in a lot of ways, while he chose no biological kids, it was because he saw caring for all the pack's cubs as something he could do, and wanted to do.
Laurie - Not even on the radar as something he should consider. Never has been. So probably a resounding no if asked. Doesn't know what it means to be a good parent, and doesn't want to burden a child by figuring it out on the job. The kind of person who'd say they should get dogs instead.
Sid - FUCK NO. Leeches. Money pits. Useless little things that are never worth it and trap you into bad places, tie you to bad people.
Orion - Complicated. Yes. He always wanted to be a dad, he grew up in a big family around a lot of younger cousins. He loves working with kids. Always wanted to have his own. Then he got turned into a werewolf, and had to give up on that. Not wanting to force anyone else to deal with everything that came from being a wolf. Until he met Tessa, who was born a werewolf. They talked about it. Seriously and frequently. But that didn't work out, for both their safety. So he's back to not thinking about it.
Personality: Can be smooth and charming, even seem kind at times. Erratic, demanding, precise. Expects things to be how he wants them. Doesn't react well when they aren't. Can get scary quiet and calm when crossed, or can react with immediate and explosive rage. It's hard to predict.
Style and Appearance: Incredibly put together. Slim cut suits. Pastels and brights. Never anything dull. Matching the shirt and the pocket square. Weird kitschy cufflinks and lapel chains. Everything is expensive. Everything is bespoke. Has shorter slick back hair with a few intentional fly aways to give it an effortless look. Lot of jewellery. Especially rings. Has a unique signet ring of a panther with a mermaid tail.
Piercings and Tattoos: Ear lobes pierced. Usually wears studs that match the outfit in some way.
Scars and Distinguishing Marks: Jagged long scars across his back and back of his thighs.
Sexuality: Gay. Dom, bottom leaning verse. It's rare he's going to top, but he will occasionally.

Bits and Pieces:
Military straight out of high school. Substance issues and smuggling using the military mail system got him a couple years in a military prison and a dishonorable discharge. Luckily, he'd already made the connections to land on his feet once out.
Worked as right hand man to a vampire woman who'd built an ever growing enterprise based off selling undetectable/untestable highs to humans using supernatural origins. Got tired of being second in command. Changed those circumstances.
In the nearly two decades since, he's grown that enterprise into an empire. Owns many completely legal businesses, as well as continuing and expanding the production and dealing side of things. Owns bars, clubs, a porn studio, brothels and legal sex clubs. All across the eastern seaboard, but specifically focused in Miami, DC and NYC.
Loaded. Fucking loaded. His Miami home has a manned and guarded gate and driveway, as well as private waterfront access. His NYC place is a huge penthouse apartment.
Treats his employees surprisingly well outside of specific circumstances. Expects them to keep up their end of a bargain, if they do, they'll get along great.
Almost always has a bodyguard around. They'll be some type of canine supernatural being. A werewolf, a dog shifter, a fae hound. Anything like that.
Loves a party. A big reason he does bespoke party drug design as part of the business is getting invites and connections. It doesn't earn as much long term as other branches of the business.
I am not interested in super serious realistic criminal RP with this guy. He's intentionally bombastic and extreme with a level of success and yet privacy that likely couldn't realistically exist.
I just wanted to ramble about Archie and Sid and rotate their fucked up relationship in my head for a bit.
Very specifically, I guess, some of why they became what they were, and some more about how it went on so long.
It's very cliche and kinda ott, but that was the fun of it when I started writing them up as a story. Leaning into some classic trashy (said with affection) tropes, and intentionally making Sid seem initially sympathetic, like a good match in energy. Only for the oh fuck he's really not to show through.
CWs for references to child abuse and homophobic slurs!
Sid makes a great first impression. Even back when they first met, and he didn't have the power to back up the fuck you attitude. He was perfect character. Charming and chaotic in equal measure. The sort of person you'd root for in a film. Sure. He killed those people, but didn't they deserve it? Didn't he have a point?
Whether intentional or not, and it's never clear, he courted that reputation. Had people jump ship to work for him over a rival. Not that there were many rivals left at his level. Made sure he was the good guy.
Archie got a side of that which made it even harder for him to realize what Sid was actually like. Because he saw who Sid was before, knew where he came from. It humanized him. It made Archie feel guilty for seeing his own upbringing as terribly as he did. A fun comparison Sid made often.
He was the first person Sid's age he'd met who got his jokes, who got who he was and how he acted. Who could match him in a conversation that moved from Derek Jarman films to 60s sitcoms to a truly awful Truman Capote impression, which only got worse when they went to see the damn movie together.
Sid helped Archie develop the accent, told him what kind of beer to buy, how to react, basing it all on his dad and other asshole men, but he was privy to it as an act. One Archie didn't do around him. Archie was easy to get along with, and he took what Sid said seriously. Trusted his opinion. Let Sid be in charge when he asked, then let him keep that control without question.
There were allusions to a bad childhood. Quips about having had the belt enough he felt no need to try it again, even for fun. Scars he didn't explain. Nothing more. Any attempt to talk about it was dismissed with a wave and some line about living in the past.
Until they took a road trip.
First weekend after Archie accepted the job offer from Sid, in their mid to late twenties, Sid said they needed to stop somewhere. That somewhere was his childhood home. He tried to convince his mom to leave. He promised he could help her, and his younger siblings. But they needed to leave, right then, with him. She had to choose him, for once, finally, over a man who used them both for target practice. It shouldn't be hard.
Only for his older half brother and dad to get home, and that hesitation, that consideration on his mother's face vanished as they started in on him. Same language as always, same fronting and attempts at intimidation as always.
Even the army couldn't beat the faggot out of you.
His brother got a sucker punch in, Archie heard some jeering warnings to make sure he didn't touch Sid's blood. You know what they're like. But Archie was already between them, had Sid's brother on the ground in seconds, teeth bared, eyes amber, ready to go.
And then there was screaming. Before he could even look back up, he heard Sid speak,
No. All it did was make me a better cocksucker and a better shot.
And then ringing.
It was a clusterfuck.
He'd never seen Sid so angry, so shaken. It was easy to ignore the harm he caused going forward because he remembered that moment. He remembered helping Sid clean himself up when they got back to the weird flamingo laden motel they lived in. Wrapping around Sid as they watched I Dream of Jeanie and smoked until they both passed out.
Archie was going to make sure Sid never had to go through that again. Keep him safe.
Sid was too human to him to see how cruel and fucked up he was. For a long damn time. It was easy to see Sid as he saw himself. An underdog.
Someone who would never let himself be powerless again. Never wanted to be without again. The kind of person who would do whatever it took to maintain that control and his first taste of superiority. Unable to move past those wounds and the festering anger. Viciously defending what he 'made' for himself in that world, that job, his life. Despite stealing it from his former boss. Despite never building it or starting it himself at all. Feeling entitled to it, believing he did the 'real' work. Why did she get the credit? Why did she get the recognition?
That same resentment there towards supernatural beings. Why did they get something he didn't?
Couldn't stand the idea that Archie had some leg up on him, some ability beyond what Sid did. It was bad enough when Archie knew something as innocuous as a form of short hand and Sid didn't. The dog shouldn't be smarter than him. It hit into an inadequacy, made worse by knowing that Archie came from money. He'd had those opportunities, he'd had that chance and fucked it up. Sid wouldn't.
Archie stopped being his friend almost instantly. It became a dog. One which followed Sid around like a lost puppy. A tool to be used and nothing more.
Realistically though this is more what they looked like when they knew each other, since it was for about 13 years from their early twenties through to mid thirties
Age-wise anyways. Sid was hyper controlling of appearance, general style, weight, diet, exercise etc. needed his guard dog all healthy and looking like a human accessory to complement whatever look Sid was going for that day.
