Technoracket (1933)

What happened in 1933 for every character to have this plot? Am I missing a major movie or something? Anyway Scrappy's take on the "Get robot helper" formula sets itself apart by having mechanical farm animals as well. I love how they all have little radio antennas on their heads.

The Match Kid (1933)

Oopie is working hard one winter night to sell matches, after an evening of non-starters he makes his way home to the miserable old man he lives with who eats all the food as a punishment for Oopie's failure, it's ok though because Scrappy shows up to save the day.

The old man is so nasty, it's great.

False Alarm (1933)

Kind of funny to get this one right after the last short (Hook and Ladder Hokum). Unlike Tom and Jerry this department is run terribly! Scrappy wants to deal with a fire in the middle of the night but Oopie and their horse are uncooperative. The building they're supposed to save actually burns down.
