I do love the Kraken arena. It’s incredibly gorgeous, not as expensive as Scotibank (but like what is), and everyone was so nice.

omg I also had a cult run in on my college campus a couple months ago 💀 I usually don’t respond to religious people but this girl framed the conversation as “we’re just trying to gauge interest in a club we’re trying to start” and then proceeded to try to prove to me that major figures in the Bible predicted climate change

and I didn’t even get the WEIRD part of the cult!! it was like a soft soft launch bc this cult is super active on other college campuses and people have taken them to court for sex trafficking college girls . . . smh I can’t believe I fit the demure sex-traffickable girl stereotype

What are your thoughts on The Scorpions? (I love them. Comeblack is my favorite album to listen to when I'm really stressed out- it's the only thing louder than my anxiety lmao)

Super late reply but I didn’t want to answer until I had listened to this album and had actual thoughts and BETH as usual you came through!

I’m not really familiar with Scorpions besides their hugest hits (I mean is it really an eighties playlist if it doesn’t have “No One Like You” and “Rock You Like A Hurricane”?), but I took a peep at Comeblack and was immediately excited to see cover songs on there. I go bananas for a good cover I mean who DOESN’T want to hear a song you already love for the “first time” again?? 

Your description of it being louder than your anxiety is SPOT ON I am already anticipating throwing this album on next time I’m about to tear my hair out. I have so little time for listening to music with words these days (too easily distracted lol) so discovering new music is extra hard, and recommendations for albums I already know I’ll like that have a little of everything on them are very appreciated. Thanks for the ask <3
