Oh I am seeing stars. I intended to lay this out on the lounge room floor last night. I got a bit carried away with a cushion cover design and didn't get either thing done. I was up super early this morning (eczema itch! kept me awake!!!) so I got the bin of hexies out and cleared the lounge room floor and spent an hour laying them all out. I wanted to see if I had made all the rows. Turns out I had made too many rows, didn't need all the eights. I will do some rows top and bottom once I have constructed and attached the side units, so next year some time. Next job is to stack and label the side units so they are ready to construct. I will have to figure out how to store them too. The star is stored rolled around a pool noodle but it seems to be stretching a bit as it no longer lies flat when I put it on the floor.
