An insect was getting tea on the table for the boy. A insect as big as a human toddler, looking more like a robot than an animal, but unmistakably a living being. "That's the first time in forever Ayako has let someone in here, thought I'm getting the feeling she just used me for babysit." it jumped to another seat in front of the nekomata.

"She's probably gonna get back on a jiffy. So, how do you feel about seeing her workshop?"

It looked like a cyberpunk-y computer lab. screens and holograms showing magical algorithms where everywhere, to the point it almost looked claustrophobic. And occasionally, you could see one or two plastic model kits left in the process of being built.

Side Muse - Tase

A Digital Yokai both machine and insect-like. He was rescued by Ayako once during one of her first expeditions inside the other world. It was him who helped her secure a place and build a workshop on the world, and vouches for her as "one of the good Wizards" to the locals. He is a bridge, so to say.

An intelligent but nervous creature, Tase gets his name from his taser-like shocks he produces from his limbs and head, capable of generating electricity with which he can both attack and interact with Ayako's systems.

Due to his positive interactions with Ayako, he believes in peace between the two worlds even if he needs to help Ayako battle both other Wizards or even the Royal Knights to achieve it. It saddens him, but he tries his best to make sure not many people get hurt.
