"You dickhead! Give those back!" A young Jahova tackled a young Joel down, reclaiming his prized Dorito chip bag from his friends hand. Joel grunted and pushed Jahova off himself, sitting up. The boys, Speedy, Shadow, Jahova, Joel, Side, G18, D4, D20 and Legiqn were on their way home from their High School's football game, which happened to be quite aways out from their homes. They stopped at a gas station to pick up some food on their way home and they all lingered around the deserted parking lot as everyone was recollecting. Hova and Joel were sitting on the dusty ground, Hova now happily indulging the Doritos he had stolen back from his friend. Shadow was in the passenger seat of their car, keeping to himself as he listened to music on his phone. Sidearms and G18 were laughing at the small scene Jahovas and Joel had caused, drinks in their hands as they leaned against the car. D4 and D20 were still inside the store, D4 laughing as he dashed down each aisle, grabbing whatever he saw, D20 doing the same, but making less of a scene, smiling with amusement at his friend. Legiqn was by Side and G18, chugging down a bottle of Mountain Dew and Speedy was just walking out of the Gas Station store, a bag of chips and a water in hand.
Around this time, it was now edging close to 12 AM. Deluxe and D20 finally ended their sshenanigans inside and walked out into the cool night, Deluxe carrying a bag filled with many assortments of chips, candy and drinks that he could share around for the rest of their 45 minute car ride. The Teenagers continued to stand outside of the Gas Station in silence, Shadow even joining them. He stood behind the car, quietly sneaking out a cigarette a lighting it, bringing it up to his mouth. He had started smoking at the end of his Sophomore year. He was a Senior now. His friends told him many times to try and stop, to try and even get him to use an E-cig. He had gotten one, but every now and then he couldn't help but sneak an actual cigarette and breath in the nicotine. Thankfully no one noticed this time. "So we all ready to go?" Speedy was the first to talk, getting bored of standing around. The rest of them nodded and instantly piled into the car. "Ha! Where'd you find this thing? Borrow it from your mom?" D4 had snorted when Jahova had picked him and D20 up earlier that day. Jahova had driven a crappy van and ignored him, already upset that he 'needed' to use this car instead of his own. "Shut the fuck up Bryce." Jahova snapped. "At least it's got 8 seats you fuck, would you like to be piled on top of the others in my actual car?" He retorted. D4 didn't reply. Jahova got into the front seat, Shadow quickly reclaiming the passenger side seat. All fighting for seats, D4 and D20 managed to get two seats in the back this time, giggling to themselves as their score. G18 sat beside them, letting Speedy, Joel, and Legiqn claim the three in front of them.
"Hey!" Sidearms pouted as he stood outside of the van, no seats left. There was the first problem they faced before, but before this, on the ride to the game and to the Gas Station, D4 and sat on D20's lap or D20 had sat on D4's. Now Side was the odd man out. "Come on Albi!" Jahova yelled at his friend, starting up the car as well to signal "Hey fuckboy, get in the car so we can go!'. Side opened his mouth, face burning. He really didn't want to sit on anyone's lap. He was the youngest of them all; they were all Seniors and Juniors. He was only a Freshman. He stood there for a while before Speedy offered to let him sit on his lap. His face turned a dark pink. He was the closest to Speedy. Speedy had introduced him to the others and in all honesty, he thought that he might have a small 'man-crush' on his best friend. "T-Thanks." Sidearms squeaked out as he awkwardly got into the van and then even more awkwardly sat on Speedy's lap, feeling uncomfortable. There were chuckles, side comments and snickers from the others around them and he hid himself in his hoodie, feeling eembarrassedthat he had to sit on Speedy's lap. The only one who knew about his 'feelings' for Speedy was G18, who was smirking from behind him. Side desperately wished he could hit him in the head for giving him that look.
Jahova started driving home, the only sound now was that off the soft radio music. D4 and D20 had fallen asleep in the back, D4's head resting on D20's shoulder, D20's head resting on Deluxe's head. G18 was on his phone, but couldn't help but yawn often, probably because most of the others, all tired as fuck, were also yawning. Side yawned for what seemed like the fifteenth time, trying with his best effort to not fall asleep as he sat on Speedy's lap. Speedy, who hadn't said much during the ride, shifted a little, making Side jump. "Sorry" He murmured, sighing. Side shrugged. Noticing how uncomfortable and tired he looked, Speedy smiled. "You can lean your back against my shoulder...like there's some seat space between me and the window." He nervously chuckled, glancing around at the others. Sidearm's blinked but hesitantly accepted the offer and leaned against his shoulder, instantly regretting the position. His head was close to Speedy's and he looked away, gazing out the window. Speedy shifted again, but this time now his arm was around his waist. Sidearms loudly screamed to himself.
Soon enough, Side couldn't resist his exhaustion and dozed off. Speedy couldn't help but also fall asleep, head leaning against Side's shoulder. His grip around his waist tightened a little. It took a while for the others to notice, but Joel nudged Legiqn, who sat beside him and pointed silently to Side and Speedy, trying to not laugh. At this point, Side and Speedy were practically cuddling, Speedy having his arms wrapped around the younger boy, both peacefully dreaming. Legiqn giggled like a little girl and notified Shadow and G18 of the event. Shadow rolled his eyes, not really caring and G18 grinned. "What's goin' on back there?" Jahovas boomed a little too loudly, still awake from the three bottles of ccaffeinatedsoda he had earlier. G18 shushed him and Joel couldn't help but laugh along with Legiqn. "Side and Speedy are...cuddling!" He sang, looking at his two friends. Legiqn flipped out his phone and snapped a few pictures. "So cute." He smiled, a devious look in his eyes as he flipped through the pictures he now had saved of the two boys cuddling.
Jahova dropped off Legiqn first, how proudly, with the photos of cuddling Side and Speedy, waved goodbye before climbing the fire-escape to his apartment a few floors above. Next was G18 who stole some candy and a soda from Deluxe's bag of goodies as dashed into his house. After that, Shadow was dropped off who only gave a small wave and entered his house, heading straight for his computer. Then he dropped of Joel. Sidearm's stop was before his, but Jahova decided to wait and drop the two cuddling friends off after everyone else was dropped off. Joel said goodbye to Jahova before exiting the car and walking up the driveway to his house. After Joel, Jahova dropped off the Deluxe brother's. With about a minute of trying to get at least one fo them up, D20 fluttered his eyes open and woke up D4. They whispered to each other before drowsily exiting the car and thanking Hova for the ride. D4 grabbed his bag of goodies and D20's wrist before making his way into his first-floor apartment.
Finally, he pulled up to Sidearm's house, parking the car and sitting there for a moment before opening the door on the other side from where the two sat. "Albi! Lucas!" He sang loudly, hoping to wake them. Thankfully, they were light sleepers and woke instantly at the sound of their names. "Mmm?" Side sat up a bit, rubbing his eyes with confusion. "Come on cuddleboy, we're at your house." Hova sighed as he waited somewhat impatiently. Sidearms then came to realization. At this point, Speedy was already quietly staring at him, biting his lip. "Oh..u-uh yeah yeah." He scrambled onto the empty seats and off Speedy's lap, face heating up again and turning pink. "Thanks Hova." He stepped out onto the grass, rubbing the back of his neck. Speedy watched Side get out of the car, and for some reason he felt empty that Side wasn't close anymore. Sidearm's felt the same, scolding himself though for being awkward. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't realize Speedy getting out of the car as he turned to face Jahova and him. "Goodnight Jahova-" He was cut off by Speedy hugging him. Hova smirked. "Night fuckboy." He got back into the car and Side foudn the strength tp hug his friend back. "Goodnight Albi." Speedy whispered, ruffling his hair. Side blushed. "Night..!" He breathed out, waving shyly before dashing into his house. Speedy got back into the car, Jahova now heading to his house. "So." Hova chuckled. "Albi your new boyfriend?" He teased and Speedy blushed. "N-no..."He scoffed, glad Sidearms wasn't around to hear him say that. "Sure, sure." Jahova rolled his eyes, dropping him off before heading to his own home.
Speedy flopped down on his bed, pulling out his phone that was almost dead. He lay in the illuminated light of his phone as he pulled up the messages between him and Sidearms from earlier conversations "Wanna hang out again tomorrow?" He quickly sent the text, heart rapidly beating. Did he have feelings for his friend. Side replied almost as fast. "Sure." And he smiled. "Great. Goodnight bro, see ya tomorrow! <3" He added the heart for extra effect before sliding under the covers and falling asleep. Sidearms was quietly squealing to himself in his own room, staring at the texts for a long while before he himself dozed back off to sleep, excited for the morning.
