Little pearls of squeeze out is what you want to see on your glue ups. More than that and you’re either have too thick of an application or too much clamping pressure. #sideworksaturday in my own house. The seasonal movement had compounded into one seam about 2’ centered in front of the fireplace. Luckily I’ve been too busy to finish the baseboards and I was able to take up much of the floor to relieve pressure on the long seams and close up that joint.
