When I stumble upon government housing projects in different countries, I’m reminded of how similar the structures of our communities can be. Throwback to my tour in Australia this past year where I met brother @izzycam2016, a South Sudanese filmmaker who is aspiring to create positive change for his community. #TBT #sidnaidu #hardknockcollective #documentary #storyteller
Earth to earth & dust to dust.. Shout outs to my ride or die families who've made this journey one worth riding for #blessed #sidnaidu #ComebackSeason (at Deserto De Mojave - Nevada)
If the very idea of our time & existence being limited, could change how we live, then why not accept that our existence rests on ensuring that we have created something that will have a positive impact long after we fade away. Through my journey I’ve learned the importance of being present to truly exist & make a difference amongst the chaos. By being present we clearly hear what our hearts & minds are telling us. It gives us the sight to see where the direction of our life’s work must head towards. For this reason the ability to pause & reflect becomes a very necessary time for me. After being on the move for the past 9 months, the time has now come for me to take a seasonal pause for the year so I can continue to silently build the vision for the next chapter of my work. I want to thank everyone who has been following and supporting my creative journey over the years. While I’ve been creating for 11 years now, it's been the past 2 years of working from different destinations as an artist & change maker that has been the most monumental in both my learning and growth. If asked the age old question of “Where has the time gone” I hope the merits of my work will someday speak for a life well lived, not just for me but for world that we need to build. Thank you all for supporting the journey thus far 1love #sidnaidu
Stay grounded on earth but keep your ambitions high above the clouds #sidnaidu #thejourney #thisisindia (at Kufri, Himachal Pardesh)
We are bound to get lost when chasing dreams through the overwhelming chaos. Lost in the unfamiliar & uncomfortable, only to realize that this is where we find the true meaning of those dreams that we set out to accomplish #sidnaidu #thejourney
When every expected turn is wonder & every moment is magic, can our eyes start to loose sight of the mystique that exists in front of us? When dreams become lost within reality & purpose becomes deaf to survival, will passion be enough to carry us forward? When we doubt our abilities in the face of our struggles & bury our ambitions to the cost of our failures, will it ever make sense to continue down a path where we become further lost? Like the art we create, the answers to our questions can be found in our perspectives. As long as our sights stay opened to understanding new worlds then the mystique will never be lost. If our passions have allowed us to live & move differently than we have done before then we've already beaten the expectations of survival. So if being lost allows us to ask the questions we would have never asked ourselves to begin with then YES it was worth the struggle and failure that we have endured along #thejourney #sidnaidu #thisisindia #streetdreamsmag (at Taj Mahal, Agara)
