I realized I listen exclusively to this Lithuanian gothic rock band called Siela when I draw the Forgotten Dandelion AU. They remind me of Skylar-Chilli
P.S. 1968 gotta be one of my faves

What are some of your favorite Lithuanian songs?
Thanks for asking, it’s a great opportunity to remember some cool bands and singers. Actually, there are quite a few:
1. Vilkduja - Demonai ir dovanos I love this band since early teens, it has some appealing mystery and weirdness in it, like spells or some shit
2. Despotin Fam x Goodhood - Taxi I used to be really into Lithuanian rap so I’ll share some of the goods. Despotin Fam are pretty cool folks because their songs aren’t only about girls that left them and shitty hometowns. At the same time songs are pretty catchy and fun!
3. Montana Montekristo - Blet Their lyrics are dirty, but the flow and playing with words in general is total fire, these guys are basically legends of Lithuanian undergroud rap
4. Mc Mesijus - Nelieskit mėlynojo gaublio Mc Mesijus - Lietuvis lietuviui Mesijus x Munpauzn - Jie išskrido į kosmosą Neue Scheisse x Ophex x Mesijus - Musculina Maschina This dude (Žygimantas Kudirka) is insane and I love it. He recorded his first album at theage of 13 or something, produces the most outstanding experimental stuff in Lithuanian rap scene and has gained so much respect that homophobes don’t give a shit that he’s bisexual, it says a lot lol
5. Shidlas - Rasta farai This is one of humour-infused projects by another madman, Lukas Šidlauskas. More than 10 years ago he created this project and blended puns, reaggee and rap. Now he’s more known for project “Šventinis Bankuchenas” which is soaked in Lithuanian culture and wildly funny. He created song “Lietuvos istorijos repas” (Lithuanian History Rap), it is a hit song literally about Lithuanian history, it should be mandatory at school tbh
6. G&G Sindikatas - Prisijunk prie mūsų Okay this is the last one from rap. G&G Sindikatas are legends and this song is not why they got so popular, but personally I love this one the most
7. Solo Ansamblis - Moteris If I remember correctly, these guys started this project after they finished acting bachelor in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and honestly it is LAMT 101 - the whole vibe, choreography, depression. But it’s, like, quality depression.
8. Alina Orlova - Vasaris This girl is MAGIC. Her voice is enchanting. Really nice music to cry to
9. Kamanių šilelis - aš nieko nežinau It’s so soft, dreamy and filled with love
10. Flash Voyage – Odoje Paslėptas Album cover is my favourite place on this planet, that’s how I instantly knew shit’s gonna be good
11. Siela - Euforija Some classic Lithuanian rock. I really loved their live concerts when I was 16 and still listen to them time to time. I met lead singer at the bar few years ago and tried to thank him for great music totally wasted, good times
So yeah, these are first ones that came to my mind
It’s Valentine’s Day, and these two funky lesbeans are still goin’ strong! They’ve also apparently taken up slow dancing. (Good for them.)
Neia seems to be the more affectionate one, eagerly jumping into her girlfriend’s arms whenever she gets the chance, but Siela doesn’t mind. She’ll carry her little Ga-Matoran to the ends of the universe...
...Meanwhile, I’m still trying to figure out how to write romantic stuff, because their anthology story is gonna be a fluff. (Because I can, dammit.)
