Oolong tea, Hop tea, Pu-erh tea
Hi, m’dear! Let’s have some tea, shall we?
Oolong tea: Which book series could you read again?
Harry Potter is an obvious choice, isn’t it? (Despite the highly problematic beliefs of its author). I’d probably add Hunger Games to that, too.
Hop tea: Do you have a favorite tea? Which one?
Ohhh at the risk of people taking this in an inappropriate direction...a tea brand called Traditional Medicinals makes one called Throat Coat and it is the only thing I’ll drink when I’m sick.
Pu-erh tea: What is a book you can recommend to others?
Oh gosh. It really depends on what you’re into...that being said
I read Eat. Pray. Love. by Elizabeth Gilbert whenever I’m feeling lost (which is frequently).
I’m in the middle of Untamed by Glennon Doyle right now and am feeling fierce.
The Moment of Lift by Melinda Gates highlights the strength of women throughout the world and things we can do to help empower them where they are.
Kindred by Octavia Butler is a time travel, fictional piece written by a black woman author that tackles themes of feminism, racism, and white supremacy. It’ll gut you, make you cry, but it’s an extraordinary read.
If you’re into American classic lit, East of Eden by John Steinbeck stays at the top of my favorites.
