A Character You Liked At First But Not So Much Anymore:
Midoriya. His character kind of went dull for me. He is a good and relateable protagonist, but because of his plainess to seem more like a normal (real life) child, it has caused staleness.
Zeref. This is what you get for killing my favorite spriggan who loved you like a son. However, that aside, his characterization and motives have gone through his not so normal wild changes and the way he is used in the plot is no longer identifiable and makes very little sense as of lately.
Victor. He is loveable and quite the face to want to be around, but like Midoriya kind of just fell into the background. I still very much like his character, but it does not pop out to me anymore.
A Character You Did Not Like At First, But They’ve Grown On You (By A Lot):
All Might. I’m not even sure. Maybe his character was just not that appealing to me at first.
There are not many characters in FT that I have actually disliked, but I think Gajeel may of been one that warmed up to me. Even when it comes to villains, Mashima had a way of giving them persona’s and characterization that fit but Gajeel didn’t seem to fit that criteria when in Phantom Lord. During the Battle of Fairy Tail arc, I was still weary of him. But once he came to battle Laxus and take a beating from Jet and Droy (whose strengths are below his), his character started to fit like a puzzle for me and I started to like him.
Michelle. You have to admit, his train of thought during his first skate was kind of uncomfortable.
